Hello,

I am new in the bitcoin mining and i have 3 S9's 13TH running at home, and today i saw something as i think is not good at all. I searched for information and did not find any information regarding on this issue so i decided to post here to look for answers.

On one of my miners i saw as someone say a dead board i think (will post picture ) and i wanted to ask is it really a dead board and should i contact bitmain for a repair and what exactly should i send to them if such reapir is needed im currently in the 90days warranty period.

Does the S9 have three boards? If that's the case and one of your miners hashes at around 8-9 TH/s, this would be a good indicator that one of the boards is dead.
You should contact them right away for the guarantee since you're losing money for the same that goes by.

If you power cycled the machine a few times and the board comes up the same way showing only 7 chips than you for sure have a dead board and should get it warrantied ASAP.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
