It's pretty normal In my opinion as most of bitcoin services have hidden fees unless they state otherwise in their fees page. Somehow , It's the users fault as well because these services would never exist If people don't use them . I'm almost sure that people switched from PayPal for example to bitcoin just because of the fees , so seeing bitcoiners using bitcoin debit cards with high fees is definitely not something logical.

It is very strange that providers are charging hidden fees and nobody is talking about it...

I done a small research to see actual funding rates at number of cards issuers. Here is what I found:

This is not much completed because there are many other companies that offer bitcoin debit cards services.
Sprectocoin has some scam accusation in the past (not sure if this is still an open case).
If I were you I would add Coinsbank and they have more than one type of bitcoin debit cards available for different reasons.

The competition among Bitcoin debit cards is biger and biger so their services will become cheaper with time and hope with more features and quality. I'm using Xapo at the moment and to my opinion they are among the best although they have introduced the fee for very small transactions which some users don't like.

Xapo has been my wallet since it began close to 2014/2015... My debit card is still not something i'm worried about until I build up more, although it's better than the competitors with the Withdraw from PayPal feature spurring money without needing to buy using a bank.

Any provider would require security and further their brand to stay up n the charts, but I feel they all have unique potential with how BTC grows with every part of the financial sector.

You going to be adding coinsbank card anytime soon?
I have a card with them for over 6 months now and never really used it waiting for something better to come along but with this comparison chart it would make my decision that much easier. Smiley

Nice comparaison, specially for mentionning the margin. You could add to your list, Bitwala wich is a good website, and Coinbank as someone mentionned before. Both deserve to be included in your list. Some have a monthly fees, you can also consider adding this parameter. Then make us a nice table comparaison Grin

At the moment I'm using plastic USD card which I ordered via unichangeme exchanger. Card costs only 10 USD (9 EUR costs EUR card), unichange takes commission when I fund card with BTC - 2% (for EUR card - 1.2%).
When I cash out money via ATM I pay ATM withdrawal fee only 3.5 USD, possible to cash out 1k per 1 transaction, 2 transactions per day are available.

For those who need to pay online only they offer free virtual cards which can be funded with Bitcoin. At first I tried virtual card and after that decided to get plastic one.
