Been there done that, got f**ked extremely hard sideways up and down back and forth, yes it was that bad believe me. I used to trade Ghashes until they stopped the market, you could try HashNest but just trading TH/s or even try out their new S9 contracts. they are the only legit cloud mining company that I know and trust.

just go check the services discussion board here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0). there are a lot of topics the same as yours there asking the same thing and the answer is always the same. there is no good cloud mining website that you can find and invest in.
and when i say good i am just including the real ones if there is any, they are never profitable.

I have tried cloudmining and I also experienced being scammed by a hoax mining site and as I can remember it was HashOcean. It was really profitable in the beginning but it just disappear along with our investment. But not all mining sites are scams, there are three mining sites in which I really gain some profit. Here is my list, Hashnest - this site uses antminers to mine bitcoins but be careful and invest only in the new hardwares and not on the old ones, Genesis mining - so far so good, Cryptomining.farm- this mining site really gave me huge income through referrals.

Cloud mining = Scam. Those guys have perfected ponzi scheme, even those that front some mining equipment on their website. If you want to mine buy hardware and do it yourself

i have never invested any bitcoin in any of the cloud mining service but i have watched many of them and read so many feedback on them.
most of them are scams, some are shady, and rarely there is any legit. but they all will go down in flames.
you can usually find out about the returns with some simple calculations, consider the fees they deduct and also consider the fact that difficulty is growing which means their fees are going to become bigger.

Good point to clarify. There are more than enough legitimate cloudmining companies around and some have been operating for years. But this doesn't mean that they're profitable. The general consensus from experienced users is that cloudmining contracts are no longer profitable. They may have been a time when break-even ROI was achievable in months but not any more.

It's easy to distinguish legitimate cloudminers from scams: if it doesn't have a fee/maintenance structure, if it offers fixed returns, it's a scam.

I had an experience with it and I can say that cloud mining sites are the same, just take a look on the past with those 'trusted' ones but what did happened to their reputation?

When they are already considered as trusted by so many aspiring cloud mining investors, they manage to collect tons of bitcoins.

And afterwards, runaway with those bitcoins. They are just the same with their tactics though I'm not salty, I'm telling base on my experience.

very true, since for now those what he called legit is surely struggling for now since mining industry is can be called dying right now, and surely any of those is not giving anymore some decent profits to their investors and we should avoid it before they choose to close down their business, and for others who tells they are legit and giving huge roi im very sure that they are scam,


People should remember that roi in cloudminins is pretty low and not worth to wait for long period of time.

I have tried with PBMINING, and Zenminer by xpy and well the experience is very disappointing. I never had my RoI and worst I was just starting out when the company shutdown  .  Cloudmining is really a ponzi scheme.  They pay old member with the money of the new member.

i have experience with the cloud mining in the past and in that time, i can reach ROI but its need too long before it breaks the ROI, the time to break is sometimes 8 month until 12 month, its depend on how much hashrate we have. i think you can go with one or two cloud mining, make investing with them and use money that you can spend for cloud mining and use the rest of your bitcoin through exchange like you said that you can get profit.

Even if they are legit and operated under registered company, to get your investment back you may have to wait lifetime  
Buy own mining machine and run it if you have cheap electricity, if not better to leave the dream of earning from bitcoin mining.

Well, I have invested in PBmining a while ago, which turned out to be a scam site, However I have sold my account which had around 200 GHS in it it was sold at nice price almost half of the actual price because I have earned my ROI almost.

If I we're you stay away from cloudmining sites you already had a bad experienced in past. All cloudmining sites will turns to scam in the long run and ROI will take more time if you have other way to earn just go for it don't invest in cloudmining sites. I've also scam by hashocean mate

This is not a good practices to invest in many cloud mining site the fact there are no cloud mining site that actually are legit sometimes there are some cloud mining site are there but it takes too much time to get the roi that we can say this is their strategy just to stay long their company until more people knows about their site.. and more people will invest and turn into scam.. this is the same as other cloud mining before..

Remembering my mistake for investing and trusting cloud mining sites is one of the things that I can't forget. If you can guys can remember last year when the price of bitcoin did increased rapidly and hashocean is still alive. My friends did invited my and encourage me to invest with them in able to get fast profit, when I hear fast money I get easily caught way back then and the result is already visible, I got scammed. My experience was in bitminister, I tried to invest on this site, But only 50% of my investment was being returned to me, then the rest all of a sudden they face some issues unto it. So my appetite  and eagerness in this type of cloud mining has been replaced of my disappointment.

Cloud mining is a done and ended industry. Only newbies see cloud mining as an interesting investment opportunity.

Aside from the fact that the majority of the cloud mining sites are outright scams, in 99% of the times these sites are only profitable to the operators.

As long as people are buying hash shares, these sites will continue to pay out (e.g. you're being paid out with money from other people) and make it seem like they are trustworthy.

But as soon as the operators notice that the income is heavily declining, they'll either bump up the maintenance fees, or simply use whatever excuse to shut down their service.

That's why block halvings come very handy. They don't only serve as a great opportunity to pay out only half of what they used to do, but they can also claim that their business is no longer profitable and shut it down.

Why risking your money while there isn't any way to benefit from cloud mining at all? Scam sites or legit sites, eventually they all leave a trail of destruction behind where people end up with losses.

My experience about cloud minings was when I invest in Hashocean, it's just their minimum which I guess 0.018 it's when the price was in the range of $450-$500 and never deposits again. I just promote my referral link in an advertising site which also a faucet site which is adbit.co adbit.biz if  I'm not mistaken. And I got so many active referrals, and one of them deposit than 1k khs until they reinvest again until I earned 0.005 BTC every four days and I've got my ROI so easily. And after several months they run, so yeah. But now I've never invested again in any cloud mining sites after that.

I will not mention any cloud mining company (I do not intend to smear any company), but I can tell you that cloud mining companies (not ponzi scheme, real cloud mining) have the same problems. if you are in genesis mining and have X problem. Know that all other cloud mining also have the same problem (low profit and takes eternity to reach the ROI)

I speak for my own experience and i give up cloud mining. what they pay + fee = wasted time

For me Cloud mining one of the good investment but there main problem more then or approximately 98% of cloud mining is scam.Because of ponzi sceme it's really quiet difficult for anyone to know which is right ,which is wrong.So researching about cloud mining site,this can be helped you minimum chance got scammed.You surely could not condone that any third party to steal your hard earned cash!

I have a bad experience in cloud mining sites. so I hated them even if they be so trusted. My story began with hashoceans which i invested more than 0.2 btc in the summer of 2016. so after few weeks hashocean scam all users including me. I was really very sad. I was scammed on other CM sites too. So i don't advice any one to invest in these sites. Maybe Genesis mining is one of the safest sites but it be could  a pyramid scheme, No one can know that.

Right, the discussion is pointless, because the whole method of earning is flawed. There's no way for a cloud mining user to profit, all these schemes are meid to either look legit for a while and run with the money, or really mine for themselves and loan money from investors.

oh I had some amazing experience with Hashocean when I invested just a week or so before they closed down
it was a test depo of low value,but it made me reconsider "investing" into cloudmining forever
there are very few legit ones nowadays and the ones legit will not let you ROI for a long time if ever
you can try the so called hosting companies-there are many of them like Haobtc or Viabtc
but you would be much better off just byuing bitcoins and sitting on them for a year or so

I only tried some Free Cloud mining services which I did not put any amount of money because in the first place they appeared to be getting into a scam, actually I don't think that we can find any legit cloud mining service so it could be much better to just stay away from these kind of investments and find other ways to get profit which you put some effort . you might be looking for a passive income but in my opinion passive income is not possible to have with cloud mining . even with Genesis-Mining i don't know if investing to that service could be profitable in the long run .

Due to Numerous Scams from Cloud Mining Sites in the past, The Community has become more Conscious about how cloud minjng operates. Myself, I don't have a really good experience either as I have been scammed thrice by Cloud mining sites who promised me profits when We're still under the contract. I see that you've understood what you should do Investing in cloud mining is simply not profitable, or extremely risky. Best is to buy own mining rig, but if you don't have skills to set it up, just buy and hold BTC.
The only 100% legit cloud mining is HashNest.com, but to earn there you also need experience.. So be careful.

Honestly there is no cloud mining site that actually giving profit if you seen that there are many promises or they are giving high bonus hashrate theres high possibility that their service will be gone soon and will be scam..
So much better to don't invest in those cloud mining sites..
