A solution to a common problem. Betternot.rest is a Smart Alarm Clock that motivates the user to wake up on time, rewarding them with Bitcoin. If the user does not wake up at the specified time a small amount of Bitcoin, preconfigured by the user, would begin to leak into our system and at the end of the month over 90% of funds from these leaks would be divided among users who have managed to wake up at the scheduled time.

I had the exact same Idea and wanted to proceed on making this app sometime ahead.
One thing I had not thought was about using Device Sensors to check movement of phone and switch the alarm off. Kudos For that.

This is a nice Idea .. Sad My idea is already being made.

The idea is quite simple, you deposit the desired amount of Bitcoin into your Betternot.rest wallet, then you just set up a small amount to serve as a motivation for you to wake up, in case you do not wake up at the scheduled time, the amount pre-set by you will start to leak from the wallet to our system within Syscoin Blockchain and at the end of each month all users who successfully woke up will be rewarded through the leaks generated by the users who failed.

It is a decentralized application with real use in the everyday life and also will help with the Bitcoin adoption for non-users.

It's definitely humorous and all but I can't see this taking off. 
It's a novel idea but doesn't really have much promise. Why would people pay for this when there are similar apps that offer the same end-result without resulting in you having to put your money on the line.

No, we are not just an Alarm Clock that slowly drains people's money and it is not just the sensors that will detect if the user actually woke-up.
We are in negotiation to bring a specialist from the São Paulo Sleep Institute to act as an advisor in the development of the App by working on a manual deactivation mode where the user is encouraged to wake up and that we can ensure that he is in a fully conscious state. (Our Startup is located in Brazil, a country, which is currently on the cutting edge of sleep studies.)
In addition our App will also integrate with Google Calendar and other similar tools, letting you know all day of your appointments.
We are working on a User Experience where our application will also act as a bridge to non-crypto users, enabling common payment methods and converting to Bitcoin, teaching users in a simple and intuitive way about cryptocurrency.

The idea of ​​"put your money on the line" depends exclusively on you, if you wake up at the time that is your goal after all since you installed the application, you will not be losing money but winning, this value placed is "symbolic" and serves Just as motivation for you to wake up.

And why Smart? We understand your concern and we are here to help you.
Working on the development of an application is not something simple, even more that we are dealing with security issues using Blockchain, this takes time and a lot of investment.
The crowdfunding campaign was not created to deceive people to donate for my own benefit, I'm not promising money to anyone, I'm just promoting the project that I believe and I've been working on for some time. The user who help during the campaign will be supporting the project with a fair chance to be rewarded for it, since 20% of all donations will be split among the first 1,000 users who sign-up at the application launch. It is a DApp that will benefit all crypto-currency community and also help in Bitcoin’s adoption. My biggest responsibility is to build an application that will be useful and present in the everyday life of each user, for this to happen I will apply all the knowledge that I acquired with over 10 years of career as UI/UX Developer.
 
Today I work 360º on ​ Betternot.rest, from development to social media. I am also an entrepreneur, so far all the costs related to the project are being financed by me and not through donations. We intend to use the funds generated by the crowdfunding campaign on June 5th after separating 20% of the funds that will be split among the first users. Recently I hired a Back-End specialist that will assist me to build the API, that will integrate in a near future with Syscoin’s Javascript API, which is being developed by Dan Wasyluk and will be released soon. Unlike an ICO or other means of raising funds, we have decided to show our idea to the community, and we have had a good feedback so far, in addition to a large number of visits to our crowdfunding page, emails and shares in social networks, we also received our first donations. 
Every donation, however big or small, has the same importance for us, our motivation is to know that the Bitcoin community is supporting our idea.

The app will be available for free at Google Play and Apple Store and you can use its functions without having to deposit any amount.
Only our functionality to earn Bitcoin requires the deposit and use of the application in the day to day, in this way the user will be eligible in the funds split.
Our App only gives you the possibility to put a BTC amount decided by you to motivate you to wake up and knowing that if you wake-up at the scheduled time you will earn BTC, otherwise you lose your commitment and you lose money.

I've looked at your site and read a little more.
Thanks for the lengthened explanation.
My only question now is that what will incentivise people to keep using the app? As the app gains popularity, the amount of people (the pool) sharing the 90% of leaked funds will grow (assumingly). This means that the funds they'd each be receiving would decrease given the fact that people who continuously fail to wake up will eventually quit using the app seeing as it just causes them to lose out financially.
Additionally, once people actually get into habit of waking up on time then the pool of users failing to wake up would decrease and the funds they'd need to split would lessen as well.
