Sorry to invade the topic, but I don't want to clutter the forum with similar questions.
I have Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce, I OC'd it today to +200 gpu clock, temperature is at 72 celsius,
fan speed at 73%, and power consumption at 84%.
I get 1100+ mhs on siacoin, which is quite a lot more than 950 on stock settings.
Can I run these specs 24/7? Will it hurt the card in the long run?
Thanks
In the long run it should hurt it but based on your data you have input here, it should run for about 3 years without any major problems. After three years GTX 970 should be almost useless knowing how much the technology advances each month. You should mine LBRY with 127 MHS you can make 5.30 USD per week net profit. You can use it better that GTX 970 of yours.
Thanks for the reply! No, I'll def sell it and buy couple of 1070s or ASICs, I tried LBRY now, out of fun and got only 43 MHS, I must be doing something wrong.
After like 1 hour I got 0.1 LBRY.
