I recommend that you do NOT click the link and do NOT read the article.  It is full of nonsense and false information.  If you want to understand how private and public keys work, and how they are used by bitcoin, then this article will only cause confusion and lead you to incorrect beliefs.

Now that's a concrete warning, thank you.
And OP hasn't provided any quotations from article at all so it hardly deserves attention anyway.

So if i want to learn the truth behind Public and Private keys can you point me the direction I need to go?
Do you have any good source of information about it? Is bitcoin wiki any good?

I am interested in finding out more about public keys and private keys...

I am happy DannyHamilton warned us, but I am also interested in a wiki or such where I can find info on such.
I am total newbie in this whole subject.
