Hey All Ive created a new BitCoin website ( http://btc-sportsbook.com/) and finding it hard to spread the word. First up being a newbie on this site restricts my postings, but even then, when i make full access, spamming the forums is not the way forward. With bitcoin being a very specialised subject i dont want to advertise in my usual places as that will be advertising more bitcoin itself rather than my bitcoin site. I need to target bitcoin users. Any ideas? Alex

Try the Bitcoin advertising networks? There's some PPC stuff I've seen out there and also anonymous ads.

You can target bitcoin related websites with Operation Fabulous. I'll also include you in The Bitcoin List in the Gambling section. (Disclosure: I own The Bitcoin List and co-own Operation Fabulous.)

Still around.

A proven way would be to give away some satoshis like many sites are already doing. Ask people to register with their email address to earn 100 satoshis, and you'll get many customers soon.

Buy adspace on Reddit? Or just submit a link, your site will inevitably see some traffic although I would not expect too many orders.

google Adwords might not be a bad idea. Keep SEO and keywords strong and try to secure a URL with appropriate keywords in it. BTC sportsbook is actually pretty good.

Currently www.reddit.com/r/bitcoin is quite receptive to new businesses promoting their acceptance of bitcoin. Give it a try!

But it is def worth a try.
