Chronocoin.com allows you to purchase just about every kind of consumer product in existence for Bitcoins. Snacks, electronics, books, music, jewellery, office supplies, appliances, kitchen stuff, medical supplies, toys, video games, cell phones, computers, PC parts, and even more. We've just started expanding our beta publicly a bit further than we have in the past, and are now pumping more goods out to Bitcoiners via two-day shipping than ever before.

Be sure to use the power search on the home page if you don't find the exact item you want in stock already. This will search our available inventory via our supply chain network and make your desired products available for purchase instantly.

Thanks for participating in the beta, and happy shopping!

Nice, but you could add inexpensive simple (USPS Priority Mail or even First Class) international shipping, as I am not willing to spend for expensive "Expedited Shipping" which seems to be the only international option.

Unfortunately, due to weight and value restrictions imposed by USPS over the last year or so we are unable to utilize First Class and Priority mail on the vast majority of our orders. We wish there was something that we could do about it, but to be totally blunt USPS has been starting to get really mediocre in terms of overcharging for basic services as well as implementing a lot of tricky rules to force you to spend more on shipping service for no reason. That said, you'll find that the $25 give or take that it costs to ship via our expedited two-day service is actually quite reasonable especially if compared to USPS Priority Mail International($40ish).

i dont understand the chrono part

This refers to the speed of processing and receipt of your goods. Usually people seem to have their goods delivered and in-hand within around 3 days after order submission, so the name seemed fitting.

Well, I remember the days when USPS Priority Mail International envelopes where 9$ or 12$, now I see they are all 23.95$. Although for items like a small memory stick you can still post a fist class package for 16.75$ which is better then the 30$ worth of coins I get quoted for a small memory stick. But it seems with these insane increases - prices almost tripling within just a few years it doesn't make much sense to buy from the US any more, especially that SwissPost.com offers very cheap shipping from Hong Kong to Europe, I was surprised they can ship a Registered Letter with a small item from Hong Kong to Europe cheaper then it'd cost to ship that from within EU.

Did they (USPS Priority) just recently made everything 23.95$, cause I think they where not that expensive even last year?
Seems almost like they base their dollar prices on the price of a Bitcoin, LOL! Maybe its just the US dollar became a lot less valuable?

Yeah, they're really starting to hike up prices both domestically and internationally. Flat rates, normal Priority, and First Class have all gone up a TON in the last year, but mainly the issue is the tricky crap they do now. For example, only shipping service which costs in excess of $40 is able to deliver any goods valued at more than $400: this means that as soon as you hit the $400 mark the price you pass on to the customer goes up 10%. On the bright side, our shipping rates are flat for your entire cart so once you buy a decent number of products at once the value goes up substantially and you don't have to deal with USPS nonsense. Anyway, I hope that makes things a little bit more clear re: USPS and shipping costs. The key is really in the bundle, gives you a lot of bang for your buck shipping-wise if you do it that way Smiley

That's exactly why we can't use it, even though it used to be great for small items. Sad

Especially with the 2013 update, you now have to pay a high subscription to stamps.com or endicia to get access. I can't return items to china anymore without applying stamps manually. Other countries have dhl and such. We have no more international mail.

Oh, interesting.... I had no idea they shut down normal access to the label generation systems. I did, however, know about the racket stamps/endicia and other such Linux-unfriendly companies have negotiated with USPS considering that generating USPS labels as a Linux using shipping customer can be nearly impossible.

Also, yeah, it would be GREAT if we had DHL here! Our international shipping options suck in the USA. You can pay FedEx or UPS $100 for a letter-weight envelope overseas... or pay USPS $15 for the same pleasure....but either way it's horrible trying to do global commerce in the USA sometimes.

Privacy and security are generally important if you're putting it any personal info on a website.

There's no good reason not to have one. I mean if you're lazy about setting it up sure but...

If someone capable of it is doing DPI on your bitcoin-related transactions, they won't glean any information that they don't already have from your Chronocoin transaction except perhaps your taste in beef jerky or something. Since we don't take credit cards, SSL is less of a concern for us than traditional merchants - we're going to add it soon anyway.

Chronocoin is a fully licensed company based in Delaware, USA
