I think in a long run bitcoin will win the race against paypal, the one that makes bitcoin better than paypal is the hidden identity and bitcoin never question a transaction no matter how big your transaction were, paypal still famous because there not many people know about bitcoin, if every shop and people know bitcoin then it will be big threat for paypal

The truth is that, though Bitcoin isn't official being used in purchasing stuffs, trading, and investing for public, it's a threat for PayPal since their market would be lessen as Bitcoin competes them. I hope Bitcoin can be converted directly to the bank where there would be no site/app that need your money to go through it to convert into bitcoin or fiat vice versa. Sooner, it can happen and that is the time Bitcoin win against PayPal.

Bitcoin will win in the end for gambling specially, since its ideal. You can gamble at any day of the week, in any country, and your age doesn't matter as long as you have bitcoins, that is what is so great, its total freedom. When I Was in HS i wanted to play poker for real money, but they would not allow me to register cause i was underage. I could have played poker with bitcoins back then. Kids of the future will be do that and some will get rich.

No questions asked Bitcoin is already the clear winner even though paypal is being used in the past regarding on paying online or doing gambling online because bitcoin wasn't been created yet but now when its available it really gives the convenience and anonymity on which most people do really love.

According to me Bitcoin is Winning the Race Because Bitcoin has Many Features that PayPal Doesn't Have Like Bitcoin is anoymous and Have Less Fees for Transaction and Also Your Account never be Put on Hold or Blocked if you are Using Bitcoin But in PayPal Your Account can be Blocked and Your Funds can be Put on Hold.........

Bitcoin really overtake paypal in terms of the features it has, and some of the paypal users was shifted into bitcoin already. And because of the anonymity of bitcoin, and decentralization which paypal doesn't have any of it is the main reason why bitcoin winning the race in online payment.

Paypal is still leading the race in terms of online payment transaction but bitcoin is not far behind. But bitcoin has the possibility to overtake payment in a few years because bitcoin is going global and mass adopted soon. Well base on my experience when verification in paypal its really hard sometimes they are not accepting your card and sometimes halving linking some apps to paypal. that really not verify easily just like i experience few days ago.. i cant verified my paypal account using vcc because halving error when adding. unlike in bitcoin that much easier to use the good part in paypal you can reverse the payment once you scam..

I think bitcoin has really an advantage to win over paypal thats because bitcoin is knows as a currency in gambling so most people use bitcoin and its easy to use than paypal. I think paypal is more when you want to buy something like in online shops like Amazon, Ebay, and any other online stores that mostly does not accepts bitcoin. Sooner in the future I still think bitcoin can expand more than paypal.

Transaction Charges are low. So like this if you compare with paypal their are so many benefits by using bitcoin

i do not know how you even compare the two when the are total opposites of each other...
paypal is more of centralized in nature while btc obviously isn't it is decentralized

The thing is that paypal doesn't really support online gambling.

If you were a gambler and you wanted to get to some casino online to play, you'll never find one that accepts Paypal. Okay, maybe just a few that accepts paypal but the rest accepts skrill or neteller.

But bitcoin, it's anonyomus. You don't nee to go through the verification process with skrill or neteller with bitcoin.

Each has got its own user base based on the usage with the same. For gambling purpose bitcoin usage is preferred high, for which we cannot say that PayPal is losing to bitcoin. For all trading requirement, business necessity and shopping needs PayPal is given preference. I believe there is no need of a comparison as both function based on different backing.

It looks like bitcoin is a life saver as it has solved so many problems of yours  first and foremost the OP is trying to compare oranges and apples here,bitcoin is a digital currency which can be used without a central authority but on the other hand paypal is just an payment gateway where you can send your coins through a central authority.

I think it is paypal that is still leading since they are established brand and operating decades ago but I am sure,they are threatened with bitcoin. Thy can improve their services to be at pace with competition also. Also, there are already payment systems who are competing with paypal. Bitcoin is new but there are several country adoption already,in the long run I think it can beat paypal.
