In my humble opinion, it was one of the worst choices for Nobel Price winner - right after Nobel Prize for European Union, which was arguably the worst choice ever.
I am beginning to think that Obama was liked because he was more of a mascot, first black president etc. His views was actually far more utopian than Trump's and his execution was terrible.
During his presidency USA became a pushover country and not the global leader like it used to be.

even muslim athletes who were to participate in competition in us were not given visa even though they didnt belong to a muslim country.

It's still notable and newsworthy if you paint yourself in the guise of "leader of the free world" and then you are suddenly on par with Kuwait in terms of the freedom you're willing to permit in terms of freedom of movement.  And remember that even some American citizens have been caught out in this shitstorm too, so it's only "land of the free" if you have no ties to the Middle East (and I suspect China and Mexico are probably next).  Reactionary and draconian measures like these are obviously going to be more noticeable and cause more outrage if the nation in question likes to pretend they're still a modern and progressive society.  If that's not how the US wants to be seen anymore, then fair enough.  To all the Americans here, enjoy the slide into fascism, I guess, because I sincerely doubt it ends here.

If the US are going to lead by example, they're setting a horrible precedent for others to follow and I hope most countries ignore their new-found idiocy and retain some semblance of common sense, treating human beings as individuals on a case-by-case basis.  Not some blanket discriminatory ban based on the arbitrarily defined borders someone happened to be born in, as if that somehow defines who a person is, or what "threat" they supposedly represent.  If you presume guilt when no crime has been committed, you only increase resentment towards the US, so enjoy that too.
