My """investors""" wont let me ship the fucking card unless i recieve all the hardware working and good to go before i ship the card, They're not even fucking satifyed with Photos of the components with my name written in, nor a goddamn government id, Nothing fucking pleases them.
So unless for whatever reason your willing to ship first, lemme know I Fucking need to get rid of this thing

So im not pleased with my purchase of an MSI 6990, Using guiminer-poclbm im only getting 333mhash/sec/core@stock.
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127574 This is my card

I would like to trade this card for some 5830's or other hard to obtain good mining cards like 6970's And enough coins to purchase a rig to run them, Or,instead of coins just the rig, But shipping a rig would cost more, but then again if im gonna buy stuff of newegg im gonna missout on mining time and need to pay Heavy taxes

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

So im hitting around 670 with my card, Wich is the Minimum on the list, So i would expect that more experianced miners would beable to make better use of this card

There are no issues with the card, It overclocks just fine,Is less than 6months old been running at stock@70° with fans at 80% And i would expect to recieve simmilar quality of trade cards

Trading it for preferably 2-4 5830's and a rig to run them. Or Coin equivalency to purchase equipment to run build the rig to run the cards

why would a miner trade 4x 5830 at 900 MHZ clock that give them 1100 Mh/s for a 6990 that with more 100 MHZ than stock (thats pushing a little since those cards doesnt have good cooling) give them about 805 - 835 Mh/s ...
Thanks ...

Good qustion, At wich i have a Prooven answer too, Someone contacted me whom was bailing out of mining and wanted a good gaming videocard.
So this was a perfect deal for him, However, Before i could trade the card someone offer'd him cash
But i Definitly see your point

Ultimatly what i want is to turn my 6990 back into money then the money into 5830's, But it's Very hard to find 5830's

im not pleased with my purchase of an MSI 6990 - im only getting 333mhash

Really, that low Shocked It's not much better than my 5850 ~280Mhash/s.

There is good deal on my local computer store for Asus 6990. They sell it for 610€ if you pay it all once, but they also have monthly payment option. 65€/month and time to pay 12months(i was considering getting this via monthly payments).

But if that card is capable only for ~333Mhash/s then it's not worth it Sad

Sorry if this turned OT, but can anyone with Asus 6990 confirm that it's that "slow"?

The card itself isnt slow, It's me running the card thats making it slow, I have no knowledge of linux and apparently thats what you need to get the card running ?cleaner? and getting more m/hash/sec, The card can Definitly hit higher than 670, I can bring it to 700 but then i cant cool the damn thing

More experianced miners can get these cards Waaay higher, Look at the hardware comparison, It's mostly about How Well, the card overclocks
And considering that i have an MSI card, I would Expect Afterburner to beable to clock this thing perfectly, Hell the box for the card says "UP TO 85% OVERCLOCK WITH MSI AFTERBURNER"

But i dont want to attempt clocking such a valuble card, I havent Touched the voltages, but that standard 880core and drop mem thing works Great, But i just cant cool down the card fast enough

That's 333 per core and the 6990 has 2 cores. Just in case it's not clear.

There's some deals (good?) on the cards on eBay:

That's the 5970.

OP, I've got a couple of 5850s and a brand new motherboard which will run 2 cards, or 4 with risers. They run pretty well if I do say so myself. Smiley
