The Soupe Du Jour series is a tribute to the iconic pop artist Andy Warhol and his famous 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans.

This series will chronicle the price of Campbell’s soup – in “bits” – over 1,024 days.

There will be 32 pen & ink drawings of each variety of Campbell’s soup creating the opportunity for 32 “complete” collections. The first, “Tomato”, is dated “Jan. 30, 2017” and a new drawing, each an original, will be created every day for 1,024 days at which time the series will be completed.

Availability: First two are sold. Next up is "Feb. 1, 2107".

Each piece is 8” x 10” on acid free paper with archival ink. Suitable for framing or display in a presentation book.

Each Art Wallet contains an unfunded bitcoin address and corresponding private key. Pre-orders for future pieces are accepted.

Price: $100 + shipping and handling ($7 to USA or $20 to other countries)

Repurchase Policy: The Bitcoin Mint (BitcoinMint.com) will buy back this original artwork at any time for $100 U.S. Dollars (or $100 worth of bitcoin at the time of tender). The piece must be in good condition with the holographic seal undisturbed.

Payment Options: Cash by mail or bitcoin.

These can be purchased at http://BitcoinMint.com.

How these pieces are created:

1. An unfinished master is created by hand-drawing the piece in black pencil/ink.

2. This is then reproduced at a professional printer.

3. These drawings are then hand-finished with additional black work or mixed media.

4. The date, bitcoin exchange value, hologram & bitcoin keys are added below the drawing.

6. Once everything is complete, I add my final signature to the drawing.

Nice piece. Keep up the good work mate.

Thank you!

That would definitely be a cool one to see. As long as it has catnip.  Cheesy

The pricing is interesting though. According to this:
Quote
Price: $100 + shipping and handling ($7 to USA or $20 to other countries)
Unless the Bitcoin mint disappears, the effective cost of the piece is $7 (since it says that mint would buy it back for $100)?

Correct. My intention is for each piece to be enjoyed and then, instead of being "consumed" or discarded, they are then shared or traded with someone new or sold back to the Mint. By providing a buyback provision this also guarantees a minimum value and provides me an opportunity to buy some of these back in the future.

Creating a piece of art is like having children. You have to let them go out on their own but you hope they come back and visit once in a while. Smiley

How about this?

Looking good, although you've shaded it too much. Some could have be confused as to what it was without the 'catnip'. Cheesy

Next up is a mantis I guess, but what theme would be the best?

Wake up!

If you have some free time, that could be a nice little experiment. Cheesy

You could make a singular thread featuring all your designs. You could just keep updating it later. This would be better IMO.
