Hi dear people,

Which client you prefer for a safe wallet -offline on bootable usb flash drive with ubuntu -?
Does it matter at all?
I'm hesitating between electrum and bitcoin-Qt, I read informations about it - https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Clients- but didn't really understand what that all mean. So, I'm still undecided.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Both are ok. Bitcoin-qt is a full node client so it will download the whole blockchain, 8GB  Cheesy

That page is epic outdated anyway. Tons of wrong things  Undecided

The wiki page you linked. What is wrong? Tons of things, maturity is back at 2011. The "no backup" thing doesn't make sense

ok, thanks Gabi, I didn't know.
I was just searching for clarity about clients and looked in the bitcoin wiki page.
I thought it was regularly actualized.

Anyway, both are fine. Multibit and Electrum only download some megabytes and have a good interface

Wrong or right, the page is really unclear!
No idea what the colors mean or the no back-up or minimal security.

Thanks, I'm gonna try electrum!
