What do you mean by reset? I've setup 2 step verification on quite a few websites and it usually does it instantly

Did you get the email with the wallet in it when you setup 2 factor ?
or if you have it paired to the iphone app you can still access it from there.

here's what happened, I turned it on, DL'd Google authenticator and linked it to my account...Couple days later I switched the 2 factor off...THen after realizing I need to have it on always, I turned it back on thinking it was still linked to my google authenticator but it was not..

Same here although I've not had any response after six weeks!

I bricked my mobile phone and had to request the removal of my 2-factor authentication on 18th June 2013. I've contacted the support desk a further 5 times since but still no response.

My ticket status' simply state that they are "Awaiting assignment to a support agent".

Awful service.

I had trouble receiving 2FA emails a week or so ago, but the problem fixed it self. I never got a reply from their support team regarding 2FA reset. Sad

It took an entire month from them to deny my request.

Better just create a new wallet from backup

I only have one of my two addresses backed up. I religiously back them up, but forgot one time and suddenly the two factor emails stopped arriving. I'm loosing almost $8000 USD because I didn't immediately back up one of my addresses...I'm in a bit of shock.

I'm also disappointed in blockchain.info...having no customer support...claiming to reset 2FA and not following through.

And yea, I'm a customer. I've paid for their shared wallet services on many occasions. I've paid them money, and they can't even be bothered to email me back or follow through with a service they claim to offer. This is so rough....

I accidentally overwrote my Titanium Backup file for Authenticator and now I lost my Authenticator keys for my Blockchain. I have $1000+ stuck in my wallet now.

That's why I don't like google auth. if you lose your phone or access to it, then you cannot use gauth.
do you hAVE wallet backups?

Yeh, I have the private keys (luckily), but I'm pretty sure I have <1BTC still stuck with BlockChain.
