In my opinion it is really necessary for them to verify your ID, probably those sites that you have tried before are under the Anti-Money Laundering or they are preventing people to use the money they have from illegal. My advice is better to use services from exchanger that uses the verification id, because if the exchanger using a service like that then they have better user security . So, I think its ok if we get security guarantee.

The safest and most accessible for OP would be a Bitcoin ATM. It is fast and anonymous. But I believe you pay for a higher price than what is offered in the exchanges online.

Actually i have also registered on coins.ph few months ago but it looks like they need Philippine citizenship to get verified or to do any sell/buy so this can't be good option for everyone.
