Need help... I am thinking my wallet.dat is messed up.

So I reinstalled windows on to a fast hdd and one that sounds like it ain't gonna die any day. Now I try to copy over my holly wallet.dat file and I am getting error can't copy from source this is the only dat that is not copying I am stupid and never made back up yet of that file.

Is this wallet and file gone now or anyway to recover it.

That's weird,in my experience I can transfer all wallet.dat to any computer and have done that several times already,try to install it in a different computer not on the two computer that you have installed and one that you tried to install,all the other files are not important only the wallet.dat,I don't know if a wallet.dat can be corrupted but as long as it is a working file it is still ok.

Ya it is weird I was able to move over all other dat files just not this one kind shity think that the coins are gonna gonna try safe mode later tonight

Could you please try to install Holly wallet, sync it, copy wallet.dat to deskop or whenever you want, delete entire Holly appdata, relaunch wallet,close and copy again walle.dat over it?

this file will not copy from one hdd to any other place.. i have tried copying to my desktop i have tried renaming it, i have tried copying to cloud and to my backup usb to no avil..

only thing i have not tried is to load holly from old hdd to see if i can maybe send to another address will try that right now.
