I agree personally, because i always set target winning and lost amount every time i gamble. i set also maximum hours on betting so that i can balance my time on gambling and doing my personal things, Usually i always set my alarm clock for an hour of gambling then stops once it's already time's up. I strictyly stop which ever occur first on my set limitation so that i can discipline myself.  

This is a nice tip, set yourself a limit in the amount of time and then use an alarm clock, mobile phone, your wrist watch or anything to set off after the time has expired and stop immediately to gamble no matter how hot you think you were, how much money you think you would have gotten, just stop.

I should know that, I lose mos of the time but still I do play. The sad thing is that these 5% will end up not making any profit. They may have won the first few times, but this will make them even more addicted cause they believe that they will continue to win so they end up going more. The reasons are correct, but the percentage is not much accurate according to me it's 70 - 30%. Yup, there are a lot of people play gambling to just have fun, not for money. And they are ready to lose money for this reason. I am also one of the people comes to the second point. I know if I follow my loss I will end with more loss so when I meet more loses I will stop my play and will play some other time.

but i think it is all because of addiction. when people play gambling for some time so the become addicted and then want to continue it for ever. even if  he is losing money still he make argument and want to continue gambling. in fact if he is making money in gambling is become over confident and they want to continue and make more and more money. but if he is losing money so he also want to continue because he want to return back his money and in turn he lose more and more money .
