Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Not to thread hijack but I do not know how reliable the NiceHash calculator is

Based on what to mine, I should make more doing LBRY at one point in time vs. ZEC but when running those hash rates in NiceHash there was a big difference in the calculated earnings per day

I do not fully trust NiceHash and I avoid the miner auto switcher. I would just run the card and see what you get and than use what to mine

you could try optiminer, im not sure about the hashrates

also it could be that the person filling in the numbers had OC'd his/her card or used a BIOS mod

regarding PovertyBytes concerns: nicehash is a marketplace and thus the rates differ from other exchanges/coins, i believe nicehash itself is listed on those compare sites as well

Launch it and read the cmd window and it should say what it is using

NiceHash profitability calculator is tested in our development lab with our hardware.
So numbers are tested and verified.
What 3rd party miner you used to test rx 470 4g to get 250sols/s??

Doesn't nicehash have their own miners for all algos and devices?

I don't trust any calculator because they can't predict the future. Just like mutual funds
are regulated to warn "past results are not indicative of future performance".

It doesn't mean they are inaccurate in what they show, it's what they show, the past,
that makes it useless.

I am only interested about the hashrate 250sols/s i cant go this speed with stock rx470 , i am not interested in the profitability ,the hashrate doesnt depend on future flactuations

That part wasn't directed at you, it seems you missed the part that was.
