There will be 16 spots for this raffle.
The last character of the hash of the block that I choose after everyone has paid the escrow will determine the winner

Each spot costs .02

I reserve the right to cancel the auction up until the last person has paid the escrow

winner pays shipping outside of USA

Once all of the spots are spoken for, than an escrow will be picked and everyone can send funds there, and once the last person as paid than I will pick a block

You can buy as many spots as you would like.

The 1 OZ silver has .04 loaded on it

I would agree with Casascius coins or coins with a face value. The Nasty coins however are supposed keep growing balance wise. Had someone loaded 1BTC it would likely hurt, but .04 is nothing. How long would it take for one of these coins to actually earn .04? I would assume with seats costing a decent amount and the price of these new not too long?

tldr; tiny amounts of extra funding for these shouldn't matter.

The seats are currently around 0.01 BTC each.  0.04 BTC would be a 400% return.  It would take the S&P 500 - 200 years to get that return.  Just thought I'd add some sanity to the conversation...

So the seat has earned .001 btc per year?  That is less than a dollar a year!  I guess you don't buy them for their seat dividends.

And I gotta disagree with you Og, about the S&P 500.  From around 1980 - 2000, for example, it got over a thousand percent 'uge return.

Your offer could have been sent via PM. But it is denied.

Lets look at the costs of purchasing these coins

$90 for the one OZ silver
$110 for the one OZ gilt
$10 shipping
$20 grading fee
~$20 for shipping to ANACS
.04 BTC = $40

= $290 before you add any value because of the grade that it received, and you offered about half of that.

I think I have had higher lowball offers via PM.

Talk about nickel and diming, eh?

In my eyes the grading + shipping costs are up to the buyer whether they want to include those in their pricing.  You can ask for that value back but I wouldn't expect it.

So you are saying getting your coins graded doesnt add any value to them? That is like saying there is no difference in price in a cas brass 1 btc MS65 and a cas brass 1 btc MS 68

Nope, just saying that the actual ANACS grading and shipping costs were on you and can't be expected to be passed on.  The graded value is now in the coin since even removed from the slab the coin is still an MS69 if it doesn't receive any wear.  In my eyes the "package" isn't worth $50 extra since that's what it cost you to ship/grade it.  If anything, I'd say you've solidified the original value of the coin.

That was odd, I thought I was responding to "killyou73".   Cheesy
