I have seen a report on "euronews" about this (footage from Croatia).
This is not so famous story, but this is a true.
It's not easy to find now something on the Web, clearly No one will talking about this issue in Croatia.

It's about the Croatian goverment setting up boards in cyrillic lettering in Vukovar
Although there's only 30% of Serbs in the town, which of whom most participated in the slaugther inside it 25 years ago
Serbs use the latin alphabet as much as the cyrillic one (before the 20th century, everything in Belgrade was in the latin alphabet)
Croatian politicians still decided to use the cyrillic lettering everywhere in Vukovar instead the latin alphabet
The same cyrillic lettering that the Chetniks used while they destroyed Vukovar
To refresh your memory, Vukovar is the city where only on Ovčara Chetniks
pushed 200 civilians in a hangar, and beaten them using baseball bats, chains, shovels, spikes they even beaten a handicapped guy with his own crutches (notorious deaths are Jean Michel Nicolier and Siniša Glavašević)
These were not executions
These were mass tortures
Franjo Tuđman later brought abolition (forgivness) to Chetniks in order to peacefully reintegrate
This resulted in women of Vukovar complaining men who raped them walk among them, free. Men who killed, tortured others with a smirk walk free.
This is the city where they chose to put cyrillic boards by force, where all this happened.
City with a 70% Croat majority where more than a 1000 civilians put their lives here on torment from the chetniks.
Not soldiers,
civilians.
People who survived the torments of this torture walk among people who tortured them, and Croatian goverment tries to pull this although every Serb on the planet uses the latin alphabet more than the cyrillic alphabet (even in Serbia), and only nationalists refrain from the latin alphabet, they decide to put this in Vukovar, from all places on earth, in Vukovar??
And you expect people who bled here, who lost their loved ones to take it peacefully?Not to executions. But to torture.

He died in a hospital after a Croatian police officer beaten him up after he lit a candle and brought a black flag to cover the boardThe officer still works in Croatian forces with no penalty whatsoever
Although Pajičić did nothing to the officer, and the officer murdered him (not with a gun)
This is not the only example
Officers that supported the protestors (Igor Gilja whose dad died in Vukovar) were fired
Later he succumbed to deppresion resulting in burning his house down and ending up in therapy
You want to say more about Croatia being the bad guy?

And still today Republic of Srpska wants secession from Bosnia&Herzegovina and to merge with Serbia?
