Hi,
I am a newbie at mining bitcoins, and needed some help getting started. I have a NVS 3100M GPU and a i5 quad core CPU. I need help on choosing software, choosing a pool, and getting it set up to start mining bitcoins. Thanks in advance for any help.

first, choose a generous smallish pool with a good rep. slush is a good choice. download guiminer. only use your graphics card.

Great mining pool:

Then just google "GUIMiner" and download it. It's a great miner.
