LTC is not dying, it has lots of hash power, the price has been stable, so you can cash out if you want and now we are going to see segwit implemented on it, I think what is happening is that there has been a lot of movement in bitcoin and investors have decided to focus on bitcoin.

I think so, LTC's all time high was in 2013, LTC/BTC rate was 0.052 at btc-e.com, and 380 CNY in Chinese exchnages, but current rate is 0.0038 btc, it means that it is less than 10% of ath price. But IMO it will be dumped to 0.001 btc, which is the most reasonable price.

It won't be recovering into the early price, too many the promising project were appearing in the past time. I think ltc just try to get back their hype. But what's the usefulness for implementing SegWit in altcoin? There is not a specific problem in ltc need to get solved with segwit.

Yeah, ltc is not widespread used by so many people, not like bitcoin, each block can contain thousands of transactions, ltc only has less than 100 transactions, don't need segwit at all.

Yes i thought this to. LTC transactions are very fast and segwit is not so important at all. More important things are integration and usage. Little bit of re-designing, and html5 wallet and that's it. And all this is not something unattainable.

that is the biggest problem that the community has. they don't know much about technical stuff.
i am not pretending to know it fully either but for example SegWit's first and biggest purpose is fixing the malleability issue and not speeding up transactions or even increasing block size.

and also things you mentioned like redesigning and a new wallet are just for the interface, and interface has never done anything for any coin before.

Are you serious? LTC is almost as old as crypto itself. It's been around, seen some crap, pumped and dumped more than many other top coins today. It's going to come back as always. I think it's going to fall down a bit more and then it will be a good time to buy.

You had two chances to dump, first a few weeks ago when it was $36 and then two days ago it was above $30 again, why didn't you sell?

No LTC is not dead, because if you see the price today its good and I think you can buy more LTC if you extra money because I believe after few months maybe the price of LTC will increase more and I think it will become double or triple the price but if you want more profit buy more  LTC today and hold for few year and for sure you will earn a lot of money after that. Many projects of LTC will create and even partner we have now. Like coinbase add wallet of LTC. And thats good because if they add waller it means the price will increase.

LTC has now lost 2nd place among the crypto currency, and nothing new has happened so far, compared to the same Ether and DASH. It seems to me that growth, if it is, only together with the rest

As absurd as it would sound only a year ago, LTC (aka the copy+paste clone of the Bitcoin code) is now a more usable cryptocurrency than its predecessor.

Obviously, it's not a buzzword like bitcoin, so your average folk hasn't heard about it, but while its devs are here to push it it's here to stay.

To be honest, I've sold my holdings, as I have a limited amount of cash, and there's projects I believe even more in (ether, taas, gnt, lisk, Augur, etc.) but I don't think we'll see a downfall anytime soon. If anything, it should rise even higher.
