based on post history zeco probably has $10k, and comit has bought multiple casascius coins already. so they are good to continue to bid since they have already showed interest up to this point.

other newbie accounts bids will only be accepted if they will post images here in this thread of a wallet with their bid amounts and hand written user names next to it.

goodluck and thanks for interest. auction ends later today.

I looked through comit's history and don't see where he bought any Casascius coins.  He has bid on some but not won any.  He's only made 20 posts on these forums so it is not hard to look.  zekoroger is also interesting, he's made 8 posts, I see nothing that indicates he has 10k.  He did try to buy 10BTC last year when the price was lower but no confirmation that he did.  They have each bought one coin from Crypto Imperator and that is the only thing they have bought here.  I wouldn't normally look at this but it was brought up so I checked.

I will gladly vouch for comit, as I have gotten to know him quite well and have done a few deals and proxy shipments for him containing items worth well over 4 BTC in total, no problems at all - As for the Cas coins - Pretty sure he bought a full MS69 set from tookdk here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1692851.msg16985541#msg16985541

As for the other user, no clue. Thanks.

Off topic, but would like to react anyway. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I've only gotten into physical crypto recently, hence the newbie status. I'm not a big poster, I'm a reader and a learner. I'm more of a "if you don't have any interesting to say, don't say anything at all" type of guy (I know not everybody on this forum agrees me on that Wink). But nevertheless, if I see a coin I like, I buy it. And if I miss out on an auction (because I'm in Europe and they usually end at night), I buy the coin afterwards from someone else. That way I've already acquired myself a nice little collection of graded and non-graded coins.

Anyhow, back to the auction!

PS:
@ geoffreyqp: thanks for the trust!
@ owlcatz: thanks for coming up for the newbie, appreciate it! Smiley
