About Capricoin:
Capricoin is a next generation X11: 1 Block POW (Proof of Work) and then full POS (Proof of Stake) coin which is designed for large volumes of transactions. Having confirmation speeds up to 75 percent faster than Bitcoin, it is easy to see why Capricoin will be the choice for mainstream adoption and use.
Bitcoin has proven that the world wants Crypto Currencies. However it has many inherent flaws. Let’s look at these flaws and how Capricoin is designed to address the issues.

Mining:
Mining is a wonderful way to create value for a coin however it is a double edged sword. On one hand someone spent money mining the coin but they more often than not have no real interest in the coin itself beyond creating and selling it. Their interest stops at making a profit from the mining therefore they almost immediately sell the mined coins. Bitcoin has to be used as a true financial tool.
However with the ever present volatility with the market merchants will always view it with skepticism.
Capricoin on the other hand creates incentives for adopters by giving the rewards to the people who USE the coin.
Another problem with relying on miners. Which are also required for network or transaction confirmation is when a more profitable coin comes to market to mine? They point their miners towards that one. This leaves much less hash power available for the Bitcoin network to perform its one real task - Confirming transactions. This leads to very slow confirmation times on the network.
In reality it could leave you standing in line for up to 20 minutes or MORE before the merchant sees you have even tried to pay with Bitcoin. Capricoin on the other hand moves the burden away from the fickle miners to the actual coin users, by distributing the task to local Capricoin wallets.
Over time this creates a much larger and faster network when compared to the ever reducing performance with miners. This in turn leads to real time transactions for real world adoption.

Centralization:
Over recent years, bitcoin has become MUCH more difficult to mine. Currently most hobbyist miners mining Bitcoin have all but stopped or shut down their rigs. This leaves only large pool miners and even larger private mining operations with the task of supporting the entire network. As this difficulty continues, Bitcoin could see a time when there not tens of thousands of individuals keeping the network running, rather only a handful of mega mining operations controlling the network.
This is leading to centralization, which basically defeats the objective of  a decentralized coin. The point of Bitcoin was to be owned by the people. It is difficult to support that claim when a select powerful few control it.
The Proof of Stake principles in Capricoin does just that it returns that power back to the people once again. It rewards people who actually OWN Capricoin and use Capricoin. Every time an individual opens a new local wallet? The network grows and becomes much more DECENTRALIZED. Capricoin is designed for mainstream adoption.

Cost of the network:
The Bitcoin network is very expensive to maintain. Currently there are 25 Bitcoins created every 10 minutes. Doing some quick math. One will find at he current price of $275.00 the one year price to pay miners is over 360 MILLION dollars! This is a huge overhead to keep the network running. Unless there is new adoption it often leads to a drop in price. What happens when the Bitcoin block rewards reduce. Meaning the miners are not able to make us much money as they need to pay for everything. One of 2 things. First is they may stop mining. We saw this to a degree in the spring of 2015 when Bitcoin fell below $200.00. Many miners simply stopped. The result of this were even slower confirmation times. What happens when it gets so bad miners in mass stop mining? To keep the network alive? Bitcoin will probably have to enable larger fees. Some speculate that they could be over .50 cents USD per transaction. This isn't much if your sending several thousand dollars abroad. But what if it was attached to your Ice Cream Cone purchase. Or soda at the local quick mart. It is unacceptable. Because the Capricoin network does not employ miners? It will never face such an issue. Long term? Capricoin makes even more sense. The network grows at little to no cost. As it grows it gets even faster.

Who is behind it?
This is one of the best questions to ask – since many never do. So many coins are created with either no clear direction or financial resources to bring it to market.
This is why Topsites is standing behind the project. Topsites has been a recognised leader in Marketing software industry for over 15 years; with offices in Manchester, England and Riga, Latvia.
The company has a allocated a dedicated team focussed on the long term success of Capricoin. They also have the real world business connections to bring this vision to life.
Currently, the company is putting together a Marketing Plan to develop the existing merchants relationships to bring real world adoption of Capricoin.
