this year we may come a little bit short of $2000 (for example a price like $1800) but we will get there in a couple of months after end of the year. the say way we have been rising up until now.
there is nothing special about $2000 it is another 2x rise like any other previous rises.

and no amount will satisfy me, because whatever i get, i want more.

that's the spirit never limit our self lets move it up since fluctuations really happen as always and we really can't say whether bitcoin will keep surprising us in terms of its value, the more newbie to ride on the more chances that price will still climbing up and for sure adoptions will happen and it will be more profitable for us who believes.

Yes, definitely bitcoin will reach $2000. If you ask reasons then there are lot of things to mention. But the prime one should be: how it reach $1000 from less than one dollar. Similarly when it finds more popularity it will reach $5k, 10k, $0.1M and $1M levels too.

The satisfying amount of bitcoin must be determined by you based on your expected wealth and how long you will be ready to wait for that.

I think you will reach $ 2000 at the end of this year. Bitcoin closed 2016 with $ 1000.
If there is no news that affects people's trust, it is possible to see the value of $ 1500 - $ 2000.

I think the critical point is $1100+ and it has already been in November 2013. if he manages to hold above this value for longer It is quite possible to reach $2000 in this year.

Anyone can easily predict that the bitcoin price will increase to almost 2000$ by the end of this year. The price reached to 1000$ in the previous year so it is easy to think like this. But as the bitcoin works is not controlled under a center bank or something like that so anything can happen anytime. I will not be surprised if the price falls in a huge amount. And yes if the increase process keep going like now it will not probably reach 2000$ but upto 1600-1700$ by the end of this year. cheers

I think it's impossible since bitcoin trend based on past trading and popularity will made bitcoin stay around $ 1500

Just hold as many as possible and sell it on 2019 for greater profit

i don't really think that the current issue about scalation can prevent bitcoin to grow in value, to at least 2k or even 10k, you just need few rich investors to rich that amount

We have no idea who is spamming the network with dust transactions, without serious proof it could be anybody.Maybe even some altcoin lovers trying to discredit bitcoin capabilities.
At this point I would rather have SegWit activated and upgraded bitcoin than waste time watching developers and community argue about scaling. Without solving this issue $2000 will never come.

Thats to much for speculating if the price would reach for 2000$ since that price would really difficult to reach since im pretty sure that theirs so many dumpers if price would reach at 1500$, but lets consider that though since the price of bitcoins is alive and kicking so good for now but surely a big adoption will came first before that to be happen.

I remember when bitcoin first reached $1000 - it was madness, everyone was crying with joy back then. But now $1000 is not longer that exiting news, soon it will be standard floor price.
So yes, our next goal is new ATH, and when than happens $2000 won't be longer a dream. It is not a question "whether" bitcoin will reach $2000 but rather when than will happen.

well sadly these stupid fights and everyone of them thinking about taking control and making money, will hold bitcoin back.
but in the end, traders aren't known to care about political stuff that much. and as we can see the price has been rising irregardless of all these fights.

That's true  every post is really optimistic and all I can say is, even if we can't guess the price at least we knew the possible outcome when there were signs of price increase with a successive movement. If good these good track records of bitcoin from several months passed by will remain to climb up high, then it's probably be hitting to 2000$.

The value of bitcoin is being decided by traders rather than actual demand. I mean to say, traders represent the demand of bitcoins in trading platform and hence deciding the prices of bitcoins. Similarly being optimistic and speculating the future prices will have impact on traders and investors in physiological levels.

In other words, the speculations are real trigger for hype which will do the rest of job.

Once ETF is approved, we can see Bitcoin skyrocket this year. And $2000 is very possible this year.  If ever ETF is not approved then probably we can only se Bitcoin at $1500 at the end of this year, according to the prediction of some known Bitcoin enthusiast.

Yes indeed many predict bitcoin prices reach $ 2,000 this year and I am sure it will happen. But it will require a long journey because bitcoin fluctuations still occur so that the price can be kept stable and may even go down. Target end of the year will reach $ 2,000 I think it was the right and will certainly be going to see the development bitcoin now. But I'm targeting bitcoin prices to reach $ 1,500 in advance, and it will be achieved in a few months. I do not want to be too hasty to predict the price of bitcoin be $ 2,000 and better gradually.

Yes it is pretty much sure thing at some pump will get to $2000. But on other hand, at some dump can easily get back to $500 again.  bitcoin is still so volatile that such jumps are common and happen quite often.
