For the greedy ones, yes small investments doesn't really make sense. But for those gamblers that are giving importance to every cent they gamble will take control of these small investments and will put it to their priority. To me they should be treated as one of the precious investments because for me, those small investments has the potential to grow.

If they are high risk high reward with little capital then they make sense to me. 

At least with that you have so little to lose and so much to gain if it ends up as expected.
