Most terror groups have come in the open to be muslims, and other religions or individuals get involved  in terror attacks and I have come to believe more than 50% of the terrorists are muslims {i.e ISIS,boko harams, Al-Qaeda etc}

Terrorism has a long history and not all related to Muslims or even religion.

First we must start by throw away the "this guy calls that a terrorist", because that way you get any riot or revolution to be terrorist, and stick to "blind attacks on civilians unrelated to your cause", such as bombing.

Within this sort of terrorism, its first endorsers were called "Anarchists" (a group barred from entering USA at the time and the origin of the law Trump used), they tossed bombs all over Europe, being the most notorious attack at Barcelona, Spain.
Moving on with time we get the Communists, such as the Spartacus League at Germany.
Later on you get the Jewish terrorism (again Jews got barred from entering USA...).
Since the Munich Olympics Islam joins in the parade.
Political groups, such as the Spanish ETA or Irish IRA come within.

As for the terrorism as the meaning of "living under terror" (or fear); then Islam is terrorism from the core up, those people live under constant fear of their vengeful and not at friendly imaginary friend. But before them, by the 4th Century a.C., Catholicism was already rooting up to be practically the same as the Islamic religion...

There are many terrorists around the world who are not Muslims its just that Muslim terrorists are famous due to media exposure. Another reason why mostly of the terrorists are Muslim it is because of the large number of Muslim countries around the world and poverty is rampant and that's why they are easily swayed to join in armed groups due to power and money.

You need to slightly modify your post. There are different types of terrorism, such as religious terrorism, drug-related terrorism, communist terror.etc. There are non-Muslims involved in some types of terror, such as the NDFP / NPA of the Philippines. But 99% of the terrorism motivated by religion are committed by Muslims.

yup please be specific mate of what terrorism you are really refering to. anyway, it is not all muslims are the only responsible in any terrorist attacked. they were also diffrent religions who are involved too. but i also agree with sithara007, that most of these terror attacks were headed by muslims and we cannot blame if some will stereotype the muslims that they are terrorist because mostly they were responsible of such acts. most terrorist came from such religion.

I don't believe so. I think all religion have these kinds of people. Nit o ly muslims but in catholics or christians we have more people doing terroristic activities its just that they dont usually say that they are doing it to justify their religion or beliefs. I think what makes people think that its all muslims is because these muslim groups use their twisted understanding on the quran to do terrorism but it definitely doesn't apply to all or majority of muslims

We are talking only about violence which is incited on the basis of religion. What happened in Rwanda was different. The Hutus tried to exterminate the Tutsis, as they were from a different (Nilotic) racial group.

And what makes you think that they misinterpret Islam? It seems to me that those who are not ready to support terrorists disguised as just such phrases. They are all the same! Just some are ready to fight, and others are afraid, but I think the same.

It seems to me that only one such record in the Quran, it is sufficient to recognize him as such that incite sectarian strife and to ban. Why not do it? Policy! And maybe still flirting with the Muslims because of the oil?
