As said before the back area of the site is pretty appealing, I would look into getting some sort of design for your business on this. I'm not really seeing how this is going to gain traction too as the bitcoin community is already a pretty small niche I don't really see the reason for attempting to capture a SMALLER niche of people who'll want to use your social network.

I agree. Bitcointalk has the most members of all the crypto related forums or whatever form of online discussion or interests. And I don't think crypto and social media will mix very much as it isn't that interesting to discuss people's personal anonymity online. Unlike in facebook, they openly post everything in their profiles. In the crypto world, people value anonymity very much hence there is not really much point in opening a social media site for it.
