First of all, please don't hijack someone else's thread with your own issues. Please make a new thread instead for the problem you are having.

Run Bitcoin Core manually. Start Armory, go to File > Settings and uncheck the box "allow Armory to run Bitcoin Core in the background". Stop Armory, start Bitcoin Core, then start Armory again.

Please also post your dbLog.txt file from the Armory datadir.

Apologies. Looked like it was solved and I had the exact same problem, so I followed on.
Anyway, thanks for the help...do I continue here now or start another thread ??

I realised that I had installed a 32-bit version of Bitcoin core, so I uninstalled that and installed the correct version.
First time I ran it, my computer crashed and I had to restart.

I re-ran as instructed -

The prompt window scrolls with this -
", id: 1224
ran out of new map indexes
mdb_enlarge_map failed with error: "The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

Armory log - http://pastebin.com/WrsXYj7Q
dbLog.txt - http://pastebin.com/ccBr70t5

Thanks

Solution that works for me :

Wait a very long time if needed (1-4 hours) until the second black windows ArmoryDB.exe appears and let it run for a while, until no more new lines appears (30 minutes ?)

Exit Armory, if the black windows remains, close it

Restart Armory

Should be very quite fast (some minutes) displaying the second windows ArmoryDB.exe and after few minutes maximum, Armony is online

Exceptionnally I have to restart a third time.
