It will but it might take some time. If it takes too long and no one is rebroadcasting it then nodes will start dropping it. Once most nodes drops it the bitcoins should be back to your wallet, allowing you to create and broadcast another transaction with higher fee (if you're using bitcoin core then you'll need to do -zapwallettxes first).
You can also contact a miner to include that transaction in their mined block.
Quickseller and
macbook-air are known to be able to help with that. There's also
ViaBTC's accelerator, but I tried it few minutes ago and it looks like they hit the 1000 per hour limit.
Just keep in mind you'll still need to wait for them to mine a block, don't rely on them too much. Pay the recommended fee instead.
