I don't trade, but going to share my 2 satoshis here anyway.

I think a good way to make profit is using a Gunbot (trading bot that will make profits even when you are sleeping). Link for that in my signature, if you're interested.
When trading manually, I would probably use a signal site of some sort (I've seen a few good ones). I think the better ones are subscription-based services, but I would have no problem working with a free one.

I am always working with pivot point analysis for daily levels on bitcoin intraday trading. I am aware of candle stick recognization and interpretation with different moving ravage and its meaning of cross overs also get me accurate predicting capabilities. But most of my trades are highly depends on pivot point analysis's support and resistance levels.

most traders depends on technical analysis such as moving average and candlestick formation and crossing. Though tools such as pin bar if interpreted very well can give insight on market sentiment. From experience I have learned that trading is a thing of the mind! Therefore, you most developed your skills on how to trade the same way you developed your driving skills and the car you are driving does not matter most.

the only thing that i ever needed was the exchange site itself (bittrex that i am using) i can do all my analysis there and make the trades at the same time. but i use a bot that i made some time ago.

i have also tried cryptrader.com for a while, it was good and had some good features. i don't know if it is active anymore.

and also i am looking for an online service that i can use for alerts for when price reaches a certain level, but i have not found one yet. would love to know if anyone has anything.

Gunbot
a closed source bot with self-moderated topic! i don't know but i do not like it.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Thanks for your answers so far. Most of the answers are very general. I would have expected more vendors, websites or tool names. I currently use mainly Bitcoinwisdom as a chart tool and try out the LeonArdo commercial (currently only the demo version). Therefore, I am still looking for other tools to help me even more in trade.

Sometimes I use bitcoinwisdom.com, there are good charts, with information from different exchanges. Also, it may be helpful to look at some altcoins. The site also has a variety of tools for people who usually perform analysis, however I do not use all of them, there are things I still need to learn before including in my studies.

I am trading since early 2013 and so far I have *never* used a tool for my trading. I do everything manually since I want to have full control over every buy and sell trade. I must admit that it takes a serious amount of time out of your day when you do it like this, but it's all worth it for me. I have 3 different monitors running with live charts, live orderbooks, of course the exchange site, etc.

** I once had myself a bot developed, which I also tested, but I couldn't sleep well knowing something other than myself was taking decisions where my money was at risk. I know I can just appoint a certain balance that the bot can use to trade with, but even with that I don't like it. I want to be in full control all the time.

Just monitoring and watching closely the bitcoin price at your preferred exchange is enough.

If you want to be a professional trader, just continue to do trades while at the same time you are studying about it. Those experiences that you will gained is the one that will make you a professional trader someday.

Thanks for your answers so far. Most of the answers are very general. I would have expected more vendors, websites or tool names. Expect some answers like that since most of peope here are not using any kind of tools but rather some references like bitcoinwisdom.com (for price checking), Coindesk (for news) and discussions on any crypto related group or team.

I think maybe the tools used in bitcoin trading such as:

Market charts (live) with technical analysis facilities,
Table movement and exchange rate fluctuations,
Table sentiment or the ratio of buying/selling,
Table conversion rate of several currencies/altcoin

Maybe it includes a tool that helps us in bitcoin trading and in every place must have been to provide it. Robot trading may also be included, but I never use.

Even i, didnt get those things that is mentioned and same as yours im using my skills and experience on my previous trades which is somehow effective on longer or shorter runs thats why we should still remain on our styles that makes us profitable because if we do change it the tendency of getting lost is big because you dont know the style of others.

When I want to trade in BTC / Usd then I usually go with Coinbase mobile app along with triggered price notifications and when I want to trade in BTC / forex, Indices, stocks or commodities then I use Google charts to learn technical analysis about the current market situation. I haven’t tried any paid tools yet but I would love to give it a try.

The only tools I know in trading was using a trading bot. But I don't use any bot in trading, because it is still better to do trading manually compare using trading both. YOu won't feel the natural way of getting profit unto it if you are going to depend your income on bot. And sometimes using bot I know is not a good way too for me. Well, it was just for my opinion I think.

I dont use any toolset for bitcoin trading. When I learn bitcoin what I did was checking the news on social media and checking any news here about the bitcoin movement and ofcourse from my colleagues who do the trading. So far, It worked for me because the outcome is good which I earn profit by doing these things.

New traders tend to get trapped by pump-and- pump trading rooms, alternative crytocurrencies that have zero value,or end up buying when they should be selling. I got tools for getting started trading bitcoin. Set up trading accounts on the best exchanges like the easiest way to buy bitcoin, the best place to trade atcoins and don't trust exchanges to act as your bank. Move your trading profit offline into safe storage which is wallet that's not connected to the internet. And join a high- value trading community to make much better strategies and techniques to perform  activity.
