Not a scam, but the house edge increases the more bets you make. Up to 25% or something, which is an insane house edge.

Of course, if you gamble on satoshidice 15 times, then you're going to see a 25% house edge, but why do that instead of just gambling once on lower odds?

The site owner is vit1988 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=91903) who has been MIA since July, and his last post was made in Jan. Maybe he has an accident/illness, maybe he has decided to scam, or maybe he is just busy. We may never know the reason why he became inactive, and IMO it is likely that you will not get a reply anytime soon.
