What is so special in this coin which took it at that high on marketcap within hours. After seeing an increase of 1000% percent I will better wait for market to get stable before even thinking to make any entry into it. It is most volatile coin of the day if I say will not be wrong at all.

All these guys showing surprise or are wondered how a coin succeeded to get among top markets, didn't see this kind of manipulation is past. It went very fast believe me with same speed it will be down because sustaining volume and place isn't easy for long time. Few days performance of this coin will decide its fate in fact. Just wait and let the things be more clear in few days.

Hello Devs, explain to me how did you have a market cap of more than 1,000,000,000 (billion) dollars with a total movement of $ 100,000 Huh

You really does not need explanation from dev. This is how it works and this is happening over and over again:

How to create this type of shitcoin?
  • Clone some coin. Really does not matter which, but the best is some fancy PoS with more than 100% interest rate.
  • List it on some exchanges and CoinMarketCap.
  • Create two accounts on exchange.
  • One account sells few coins at high price. Second account buys it. Do not forget to keep 99% of all existing coins in your wallet for futher dump, in this phase you must keep circulating suply low. Now you have set target price on CoinMarketCap and market cap increased as well
  • Wait for some dumb people willing to buy and dump part of your coins.
  • Repeat previous point
  • Everybody now knows, it was scam? Do not worry, dump rest of coins to exchange and repeat all points again with new coin

Really, DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING!

  • Read whitepaper and try to understand it
  • Read github source code, commits, contributors...
  • Validate richlist
  • ...
  • ...
  • Wait few days and rethink your decision
  • Do you still think it is good coin? Then buy it.

Done =D
My friend was convincing me to buy that lol. I said - that's some pump/dump coin. And was wondered, how did it happen, what was the bug because market cap grew so hard.

It actually gave the price to that coin on exchange. When coin is worthless (without trades) - it is easy to manipulate. At least they can add to resume "Founder of shitcoin worth of $1.4B  Cool

bought it for the hell of it at 9USD, got lucky and sold at 269USD.  For some reason I checked coinmarketcap and it was surging over 4000%.  Ran to coinexchange.io and sold my position at market price.  Damn glad I did as now it seems to be gone from coinmarketcap and is looking very suspicious.

I thought, oh, hell!  How did I miss this red flag sale?

The current up percentage stands at 3267.22% from coincap.io and still lists it with its numbers.  That is what caught my eye.  Then, I went to coinmarketcap.com which still has its data posted.  Next step was to go to the website listed.  Website inaccessible.  Last activity FB page was November 2017.  Hmmm...Now I found this thread and went to the last page to read what has been confirmed.

At least, cryptocompare.com is not listing it.

Haven't yet come across a website devoted to scam cryptocoins/ICOs like bullshido.net for martial arts

www.bullshido.net/category/martial-arts/

For a moment, I thought I missed a bargain.

Anyone asking, no, I did not buy. Found other much better sales  Grin

You dont care about banks and cards? Hmmm... IF banks will block payments for crypto over the world so then how will you buy or sell your crypto?

Can someone confirm this is a joke?

True to that. The coin in my signature, Bitcore (BTX), is probably the only one I found to be almost too good to be true and it is real. 6% of your balance as the airdrop every monday and yet the price goes up.
But yea, when you see some noname shitcoin without any information available, that goes from 5 to 280 in a day, that is more than suspicious Smiley

MONOPOLISATION, THOSE SCUMBAGS FROM COINMARKETCAP RELEASED IT AGAIN AT $2 ! I Hate those guys.. There will be no coin like btc in the beginning anymore. Don't buy with the idea of making lots of $. I begin to think there is some manipulated algo sticked to all top currencies & doesnt let the price rise as much as the interest, it is even the opposite. The more interest some coin is generating the less the price it rises.. Angry

What is the general idea if you can tell me? Let's say you invest more money into something, but hey not just you - more & more people are starting to invest more & more money into some kind of project and you know what? The value of that project start falling.. How you call that? Who makes it scam, fraud, ponzi or whatever you name it?
