The Ezira Project is well underway. I haven't been monitoring this thread for quite a while, and have returned now.

Project updates:

Ezira whitepaper has been thoroughly revised, upgraded, and shortened into a white paper, and a developers whitepaper.
Project slide deck is up and available.
In talks with developers to start work on the graphene codebase, as the project has now matured beyond the whitepaper review phase.
Ezira Preliminary Initial coin offering is underway, and will raise $500,000 for seed funding.

Yes, EziraCoin emission is linearly fixed at 10,000,000 per year. The supply will be bought and burned by network revenue sources. If demand is insufficient in the short term, there may be inflationary pressure until the value of issued coins is equal to the value of coins destroyed. The market will determine that supply.

Meetings have been had with two Melbourne Companies - Compliance Experts, and Matrixthread to discuss plans for partnerships.

Project website has been updated:
Now includes social and bitcointalk thread link on top navigation. Bitcointalk outreach focus will be much higher going forward.
Whitepaper and investment thesis are now hosted on google drive, a much more consistent hosting and embedding solution than Scribd, which was requesting user signups to download the pdfs.
Landing page now includes infographics for comparison to other services and cryptocurrencies.
Icons included for graphic description of main feature set.

The Main ICO will use a reverse dutch auction to price EZIRA starting at $30, and reduces by 5% per day, down to a minimum of $6.44 (30*0.95^30)
The Preliminary ICO prices EZIRA at $0.50 each.
If all of the Main ICO funds sell at the maximum price, this results in a discount of 98.3%, and if it all sells at the minimum price, this corresponds to a discount of 84.4%. It will depend on the level of demand during the main ICO to determine the clearing price of the dutch auction. This high discount reflects the differential between the value of the Ezira network before the team is established to produce a working product, and after the pioneer release has launched.

Ezira Update 7/3/18 - The Ezira Crowdfunding Page has been majorly refactored. It now includes the total funding remaining, the time remaining, the top 5 supporters, a link to the asset details page, and new details about the release of the project.
The Preliminary ICO will now conclude on the 1st of September 2018, in approximately 6 months, or when the EZIRA is all sold to contributors. Unsold allocations will be sold to the highest remaining bidders down to a minimum of $0.25, or retained for the Main ICO.
