And unlike Bitcoin, tulips die and need periodic replacing.

None of that is supported by this recent study.  http://arxiv.org/pdf/1406.0268v1.pdf
That is the difference between scientific research and some forum troll.  Wink
You are right, I should have written that it in LaTeX for it to be Scientific.

Fortunately you are still free to believe whatever you want.

Then why don't you do some real research 'professor', instead of posting your daily assumptions on a forum?

I think he is just a basic Biatch......could not have an original thought in his life if it jumped up and slapped him in the face

On page 4, that article by Academic Prof. Kristoufek says
Quote
For examination of the relationship between the USD and Chinese Renminbi (CNY) Bitcoin markets, we use prices and volumes of the btcnCNY market which is by far the biggest CNY exchange.
But "btcnCNY" is BTC-China, which at the time the article was written (after MtGOX was found to be insolvent) was essentially dead.  No wonder his fancy wavelet method found no influence of "China" on the USD price.

He must be excused however, since his source for price series is www.bitcoincharts.com -- which STILL refuses to admit the existence of any Chinese exchange other than BTC-China.

Yes, that's true. BTC-China's volume is less than 1/10 of Huobi and only contributes less than 5% of China Volume now. If that paper really only looks at BTC China's volume, then I have to doubt it's 'scientific-ness'. Smiley That is, they may have a reasonable method, but the data source is wrong.

I predict from now until the first week of August we will have at most 2 weekly red candles.

The rest will be green.

what time scale ? ... Daily ?

The time scale is per week...as he said at most 2 weekly red candles... right?

In any case, this sounds like a fairly bold prediction, in part b/c we are on the 5th green candle in a row.  There are about 8 more weeks between now and the 1st week of august, so he is predicting 11 out of 13 green candles.  Even though such a positive run is possible, especially given the general 6 month decline, yet sounds way too good to be true.

Let's leave our personal opinions about each other at the door to the err.. forum. Nothing is gained from character assassination on the internet. Unless you like trolling yourself.

Let's go 11/13 green weekly candles.. would be quite the thing Cheesy

They sucessfully hide the link between sender and receiver, was that done by CryptoNote?

What is troubling me is this dynamic trust network over trustless network...

Good morning! How are we doing today?

Good morning to you! We are doing ok as no one has dumped (too much) tonight. It seems we are clawing our way back to the line we were following yesterday. If we can do another $25-ish rise today (like we did yesterday) I will be very impressed. That $650 needs to go soon Smiley
