One thing is for sure. Nobody expected this at this moment. We (all) know fucking nothing. Just HODL.
Exactly. I HODLd through 2018 and I don't regret it, I  always felt like at any moment this whole market could flip, and I would HATE to be someone who sold at $3000 because they thought it was going a little lower and they could get more. This market could have flipped last November at $6000, you just never know, thats markets for you.

Aaaannd that's why trading is not for me

he is someone who has no brain connection with other parts of his body like micgoossens. for exemple, his tongue is not controlled by his brain.
Have you tasted it? I mean tongue, not brain.

What kind of music are you listening to during this pump/fomo/hodl action? I made a thread you can toss up your choices.

I always play the same thing on pumps/fomo nights like tonite 6/21/19 at 9:48 pm CDT USA. Secret Agent Man. The lyrics seem to work.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIFrGv0UQaQ

for being in 'mostly' full HODL mode. (Damn, that 10 BTC I sold at $3,965 in the depths of despair are kinda hurting right now) Sad

Anyway, a good nite with silly music. Post your links on this thread and/or listen..and contemplate my paper/tulip wealth Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5157131.new#new

whatever, having too much fun with this pump to actually do anything constructive ...so goofing off.

I like the raise, but to much, to fast isn't healty. The alts are getting crushed.

Yeah, I'm just living in the moment for right now, having fun, but this could bite me in the future. But for now the heck with it. Having a good time with this pump!

I really wanna understand the thought process of someone who has followed Bitcoin during the low prices of the earlier part of this year and while not choosing to buy at 3100, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500 etc just decides, "Hey I think Ill buy those green dildos ripping through the sky at 10800"

I mean Im glad they are pamping it, but why wait for 10k to buy? ? ? Where were these newbs and get rich quickers when we needed them during the terrible bear market? ? ?

Or do I have it all wrong and Central Bankers are buying this? ? ?

I was looking forward to a few years of pamping with corrections and retraces to keep it fun, but I suppose I can live with pamping to 100k by August if newbs(possibly central bank newbs) are willing to pay any price and buy every green dildo.

Good luck! I applied to have my account given back to me, seems I need to wait 7 days and then I can do a password reset. Looking forward to getting it back! Thabks to those here for pointing out how to go about it

Congrats!

I want my .05 BTC back that I sodl, yesterday.  Cry But I needed to pay a bill.  Sad We going to the moon, folks.

Woah, bad timing!

I need to pay one too and have been waiting, took the $50 late fee for it. Just waiting and deciding when. I hate selling any. Sad

I was hoping I wouldn't have to but my casino jaunt turned out pretty shitty.

The only thing that I can think of (I know zip) is that 1) Big Money and Institutions MAY be coming to the conclusion that this crypto stuff is here to say 2) if they agree with me

USA policies are having a pretty good market pump but will eventually have a pretty good or worse market dump..thus a hedge to virtual gold ie Bitcoin  3) They realize that those in HODL

mode at these type of prices are likely NOT going to sell now if they have held down to 3.2k at the depths of decline. So, if they have seen the stats I have that 87% of all Bitcoin

has been mined. They may have just 'crumbled' and now are in full FOMO mode. Maybe even worse than 2017 in that, Bitcoin 'has' survived despite all.

What do I know? I"m in full HODL mode listening to silly music and living the moment. Full denial and going (even though this fast up is bad) go baby go anyway. Smiley

Man, I seriously just thought of you when we hit 10k, that's fucked up.

It was 13 BTC. I cracked like a 'nut' when it hit $3,965 and had a fit like a 9-year-old child (including screaming and tantrums) when I pulled the trigger.

I managed to recoup 3 BTC to make it only 10 Btc, rather than 13 BTC. Then of course at one time I had 12,965 Litecoin (now $143.03 I will not do the math I will

start to cry). I sold 'most' of it when mining to BTC along the way from 2013. 12,000 of the above more or less was below $2 prices. Sad

The catch is, you do this stuff long enough you KEEP SOMETHING and it all did not get piddled away or into dubious ASIC miners and/or just wrong timing (above)

WTF it is only money, right? I still have plenty of crypto should it all go 'Tulips' as folk still claim. Still, since 2013 this has and still is a hell of a lot of fun. Smiley

Still having a good time with this pump even if it is going up too fast. But hell, I can take any 'correction' down to 10k. (sh*t I just said a correction down to 10k wow) Smiley

You did what you had to do at the time and it made you stronger for holding the rest of your (very healthy) stash.

You used your 10 BTC to secure your expenses until retirement and keep hodling the rest... it's not as if you had spent 10000BTC on a couple of pizzas, is it? Wink

Ooof! That's gotta hurt! I sold a third of my Monero stash last bullrun which did me well. Only crypto I've ever sold but it got to the stage that that amount could change my life (not retire; but get rid of debt) and honestly was the best thing I ever did. Came at a time when me and my business partner split in a particularly messy circumstance so it provided some financial security I hadn't had in a long time.

Whatever happens over the next few days/weeks, hope everyone out there keeps their heads and doesn't get too caught up in it all. It's money at the end of the day; if the amount has become too big for you to lose perhaps it's time to sell some off

Best of luck!

Searing: Get your God Damn hat on.

Ahem.

Damn hard to put the hat on. It may be soon, however, the campaign pays 0.00035 BTC per post. Me thinks that may not last. But till then I'm whoring

and leaving the hat at home.

As to the past, from the day I started mining (see below)

The day I turned on my KNC Jupiter BTC Miner as a Newbie!

Oct 18th 2013 BTC   $150.00
Oct 18th 2014 BTC   $381.09
Oct 18th 2015 BTC   $265.33
Oct 18th 2016 BTC   $638.15
Oct 18th 2017 BTC $5,605.89
Oct 18th 2018 BTC $6,538.90
Oct 19th 2019 BTC $?

Current Price: June 21st, 2019 is $10,728.37 BTC as of 10:20 pm CDT USA.

So hell, from the day I turned on my miner to this. Not too shabby, despite all the drama of the last 6 years almost.

You have to like the trendline, don't ya know Smiley

dont even remember what i used the 25 bucks for. i hope it was nice.

That's about the time I got my titanium yoyo for 4 btc. I still have it. It's a daily reminder to HODL.

Oct 19th 2019 BTC $?

What's the best guess for this period based on trend line?

Not good with reading trends, but want to see a higher price compare to the price now.

Ok. I sold a bunch of BTC in early 2013 for like $35

But you buy again at?
