I think once we see a meaningful break above $30,000 you will begin to feel the FOMO building. A lot of people have written Bitcoin off since the last run up stopped and have no idea that the price has hit bottom and started moving up for the next cycle. Soon the news about Bitcoin being back will be everywhere and the buyers will be coming out of the woodwork.

33k is the key number for the pre 1/2 ing rally.

I see us getting to 45-48k before march 31 pre 1/2 ing then we drop to about 35-38k in April right after 1/2ing

real rally is fall 2024  and it goes deep into 2025.

Well, if that dev Bob cited is right, then Lightning is apparently cooked unless a fix is possible.
If so, Phil has a solid argument as you cannot accommodate coffee buying on bitcoin (without Lightning).

Do I care? Not much as my infrequent txs can still be posted, but it (bitcoin) cannot be a medium of exchange for the planet.
Is BitVM any better? I have no clue, maybe it is too new.

Perplexed.

Biden just said he wanted to fund three sides in two wars (which will probably end up with us funding another side in a third). They're strapping turbo chargers to the money printers.
I hope they strap one to BTC as well Grin.
Sadly, of the two possible futures where in one, everyone flees to Bitcoin for their transactions because it's a stable, cheap to use currency with plenty of capacity and the other where the economy is so shit, nobody can afford to buy bitcoin and it's expensive to use unless you get involved with some complicated experimental technology that just shit the bed, we're in the latter.

I see you have not lost your annoying BIG blocker glass half empty perspective.

By the way, last time I checked, less than 10 sats per vbyte to send transactions is not exactly going to kill anyone... and surely the current mempool status and even in the last three weeks, seems to have had been clearing 2-4 sats per byte without too many difficulties... .. which is $0.20 to $1 per transaction, unless maybe you are combining addresses, but you can send $100 or even $1billion for the same fee.  Not exactly expensive or broken... but hey, whine all you like.  It's a free country the last time I checked..

wait...

[edited out]
Poor bigblocker Richy_T pulling the long bow with misplaced FUD what you believe that will fit your delusional bigblocker narrative.

Hahahahahahaha

Maybe this is a better way to say what I was trying to say?

Well the master set is crypto

The largest player is BTC.

JJG does not accept the proper definitions.
Repeat after me:

Ok.

You feeling MOAR better now?

You got those lame/vague/amorphous/meaningless "master-set" ideas out of your noggen, yet?

When in doubt, just remember the word B  I   T  C  O  I  N.

Feeling better now, phil?  #seriously.

Chill.. It was intended to be a joke.

Don't worry.  I'm calm.
