Aurora has been a bust so far.  Kp actually reached a bit over 6 which indicates a G3 storm which would have been good for Canada and Northern US states but the oval was out over the Atlantic at that time and higher latitudes were it might have appeared right now are still light due to the earth's ~23.5° tilt.  On top of the, the Kp is falling so, I don't plan to stay up much longer hoping for a glimpse... I'd rather go for another $1 donut - old fashioned sour cream Smiley

Yeah.. go eat some donuts... you fatso.. hahahhahahaha

I will try to carry the Aurora weight for the thread while you are out.

I took a few pictures, yet maybe I should have had shot further into the sky.  The colors were viewable but not very strong.

Does this picture give away my location?

That was a nice picture you took, JJG!  I'll take a shot at your question, if you'd like me to. It should be pretty easy, I think. Just let me know...

This AI shit is so much fun.

Today I am training BobClawblaw to sound like Morgan Freeman when he speaks (I have xtts and Coqui  installed and working well!). Thinking about buying a 4tb NVidia DGX Spark (Instead of another 2TB Asus GX10), and start getting the bot managing a lightning network node for me. Chain the two GB10's together...

Have a great weekend folks!

I am glad that you are having fun.

Meanwhile:

Wild fantasies of Anthropic CEO and his company has caused this:

https://youtu.be/gH4FTjDm9FQ?t=748

Frontier models as good as 'dead' if a middle school level question about mitochondria causes the model to freak out and 'censor' you.

Oh, btw, Dario now scared some entities so much that they told them to shut it down for foreigners, including Antropic employee foreigners...as a result, they/Anthropic shut it down for...everyone.
Perhaps, there would be no IPO, lol.
BobC is unaffected, lol.

We are finally getting the cinematic crypto future we deserved.

Imagine the bot calling you in that deep, dramatic voice just to tell you that a channel rebalance failed or that your inbound liquidity is low.

It would make standard node maintenance feel like an epic Hollywood movie.  Grin

There is no doubt - easy-peasy. I just doubt JJG will be honest acknowledging my findings! Should be a fun research project... I'll get on it.

I put in a bid for 1 share of spaceX

I am in a queue for it on kraken.

I will likely pick up 10 shares of it and let it sit.

Sell it on eBay when you've made a $100 gain, Phil.  Grin

Does this picture give away my location?

Not really. I think I see Cassiopeia and Cepheus. However, not even the latitude alone is easy to guesstimate given the lack of metadata (time of day). I'd say between 35-55 N. Your camera was probably pointing approximately E to NE.

@d_eddie - Let's narrow your guess (a lot)! The latitude is 45.50° N to 45.52° N. And, the camera azimuth angle was between 345° to 350°.

Given time, the exact coordinates within a one walking stride of where the camera was located when the picture was taken could be determined. Given a little more time, an image from Low Earth Orbit satellite of the subject's body heat (thermal imaging) at the exact moment the shutter on the camera captured that picture could be had...

I'm waiting on JJG to weigh-in and give me his approval to reveal the missing piece (longitude) for the general location of where the camera was located when his picture was taken.  I don't want to be accused of, or banned for doxxing.

What do you mean by "bid" here?
The IPO was on FRI, IPO shares were allocated at $135/share, then it traded up to $160.95 by the EOD.
Do you mean tokenized stock?
The pricing during weekend is unreliable.

The exchange supply is dropping again at a healthy pace. I would like to see it get back to the supply amount it was on April 26.

Forge Global, Hiive, and EquityZen all facilitated trading of SpaceX shares for their clients prior to the company’s IPO yesterday.

I gotta say...

15 years and I'm still not tired of that joyous feeling you get when you rally to a price that just a couple weeks ago would have made you want to write a suicide note.

It probably helps that I have almost no Bitcoin, but still.
You are almost a no coiner?  Cry Why? Are you being serious or is this some joke that I am not getting?

Sure, but how is this relevant when he said that he put in a bid "now".

Well I could be exaggerating, and people say all kinds of things.  None of which should be believed lol.

But lets just say medical expenses can do a lot of damage to someone's savings.

Long time no read.

@cAPSLOCK - I spent some enjoyable time in the mountains of NC near the BRP, and playing golf at nearby Reems Creek Golf Club.

Hope you've been doing well...
