I warned about this coin a few days ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1780526.msg17799409#msg17799409

It's a huge Ponzi scheme.

They are Italian MLMers hiding behing a Dubai Company. They want to trick the community into establishing a façade of "we are a small altcoin" and in the meanwhile build a Ponzi Scheme "We are like Onecoin, but we are a real crypto!"

Behindmlm also did an article about them: http://behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/centurion-network-review-centurion-coin-ponzi-points/

I have been leaked some audio recordings of their meetings, so I know quite a lot about them :-) and have written  few articles about their Ponzi (in Italian) here http://truffacoin.com/category/centurion

Re: yahoo finance: yes, they are doing a HUUUGE PR campaign.

If  you want to have a lough, this is an excerpt of the leaked audio recording (Italian original here: http://truffacoin.com/centurion-truffa ).

Quote

We are preparing the market, that's also a complex and huge work, that is, to prepare the press releases: we took the press agencies that managed the launch of Bitcoin and Ethereum, and those are our press release agencies too

Seriously: "the press agencies that managed the launch of Bitcoin and Ethereum"

This guy is delusional.

I personally do not care whether or not a Ponzi.
Any altсoin - is a manipulation of the price, it's a risk, pump & dump, and again.
and do not know what will be the price tomorrow.
Even Bitcoin - a risk.

(tell please, how in English to say "I shit on the risk, it does not care about me." ?
google-translate all this politely.)

No, no, really. Look at our site to understand

Any altсoin - is a manipulation of the price, it's a risk, pump & dump, and again.

I somehow agree with you on this.

The problem is the NOT the altcoin. Any altcoin, even the shittiest, has its place.

But these are the descendants of Onecoin & Coinspace. Do you know them?

Their target are not the AltCoin-ers. Their target are "normal" folks on Facebook, that believe their "crypto-currency is the future, give me $300".

When common people are more familiar with Onecoin than with Bitcoin, then there's a problem.

Do you want the "common people" to say "no, thanks, I don't want bitcoin, I have already been scammed by cryptocurrency" ?

That's the risk with this kind of scam.

Even with all the negative posts on this coin, it still seems to be picking up a reasonable amount of steam relative to the strength on paper and PR.

Whoever said this year was going to see the decline of the pump and dump alts couldn't have been more wrong.

I do not know about the Onecoin, nor about advertising on Facebook, so I can not say no to the developers of honesty or vice versa. Unfortunately.
Well, in any case primine is a bad thing.
However, I found it interesting the project is primarily due to the new exchange)
Recently, along with Lunacoin was created new exchange. Not sure, but in my opinion - these facts are related. Exchange is good, by the way, I liked.
Here, too, a similar situation - Exchange established under the CNT coin, and there is not one pair trading.
It generates interest the presence of the SWIFT-transactions.

It is interesting that HYIPs are more complex over the years. Previously simply wrote: "Give us the money and we'll make you rich."
Then he began to think about investing legends in medicine, etc.
Now offer to invest in projects that can work by themselves. But it really can)
(If I understand correctly the concept cryptocurrency - it is able to function without its creator).
No one knows what niche will be different in the future cryptocurrency.

P.S. pardon, text probably was very bad and incomprehensible.

I am going to arrange mining rig in a day or two so would like to mine this coin in couple of days. I think till then things will be settled down and fixed if any issue appears which is normal thing to be seen at start. Total supply and block rewards looks interesting which can give some good value to this coin.

oky...we are waiting anxiously for this and we are in a good hope for this..

They have launched their MLM marketing site www.cnt.network whixh of course is their main focus..

The ones familiar with Onecoin will recognize things such as the "packages" you can buy:

http://www.cnt.network/package-AC22.html

( Can you even understand WHAT they are selling? )

The "compensation plan", with usual sapphire, diamond etc bullshit:

http://www.cnt.network/pianocompensi/english.pdf

And this is their "Who we are" page:

http://www.cnt.network/chi-siamo-P54.html

> "We are a group of network marketing professionals"

So yes, they are MLMs, and the altcoin is just an excuse for their Ponzi stuff.

Are you sure they are italians?
if yes, prove and made public their names.

Yes, definitely sure.

PLEASE NOTE: I don't want to break the anti-doxing rules, so I will just point to information and real names ONLY when they have made them public themselves ....

The first mention on the web of the CNT Centurion Ponzi scheme is this Italian PDF:

http://microfranchising.biz/centuriontrial.pdf

(mirror here https://web.archive.org/web/20170210172534/http://www.microfranchising.biz/centuriontrial.pdf )

That is the official Italian presentation of the Centurion and is dated december 1st 2016 (much before centurion was known to the public)

The PDF is visibile "by mistake", as the microfranchising.biz site is broken and shows all the files contained within.

The domain microfranchising.biz has anonymous whois, but is hosted on IP 192.254.185.253 where other, strictly connected domains are also hosted, such as microfranchising.com and microfranchising.it

And the whois of the .it is not anonymous, pointing to an Italian company  (Winland Srl): http://domainbigdata.com/microfranchising.it

The Italian company's site is winland.it . Have a look at their "staff" page and look at the names: http://winland.it/risorse.html

Moreover....

The Centurion foundation ( cntfoundation.org) lists "Riccardo Vieri" as the real name behind the "centurion" nickname, author of the posts: http://www.cntfoundation.org/author/centurion/

This is true since the early stages of the site, when it was a "work in progress" such as in this mirror of jan 23rd http://archive.is/ZjLW9

In that date,  no-body still had heard of the Centurion project, that was launched around feb 9th after an event in Dubai

Moreover ....

The current  "Staff" page of the centurion foundation lists several names http://www.cntfoundation.org/our-staff/

Up to the Dubai Event, the "Staff" page was like this: http://archive.is/wysvI (you might need to view source to properly read the names)

All names were "place-holder names" apart from Luana Sicari, Vieri's wife and colleague in past Ponzis such as Organogold etc.

Moreover ....

We have other, independent and VERY strong confirmation that Riccardo Vieri and Luana Sicari are the ideators of Centurion.

This information includes (for example) leaked audio dating from december when they were still promoting the "secret" levels of the Ponzi Scheme (Primus Centurion at 5.000 Euros and "Master Centurion" at 1.500 Euros) to collect the fist round of financing (aiming at over a million Euros)

I won't be posting all that here, as that would be against the anti-Doxing rules.

I repeat: all I have posted here are names and info they have themselves made public. As far as  I understand, that's admitted by the rules..

Hi everyone,

We will be making an update post addressing everyone's questions/concerns very soon.

Thanks for your interest in our project!

Thanks, that would be very interesting.

Specifically, I would like to have the following questions answered:

1) How is the CNT cryptocurrency connected to the cnt.network site, owned by the Dubai Company, Cryptonetwork Ltd?

2) Is the CNT cryptocurrency backed by the network MLM marketing scheme advertised on their cnt.network site?

3) What exactly would one get when purchasing "Packages" from cnt.network ?

For example,  what would I get after I spend 2 BTC on this package: http://www.cnt.network/package-master-A544.html

4) In the first block of the Centurion blockchain there is a pre-mine of 50 million CNT coins, transferred to the address Cbn9b2AJ5UFx2XuLmmYrokMt1dcQ4Y92J9

Who controls the address Cbn9b2AJ5UFx2XuLmmYrokMt1dcQ4Y92J9 ?

5) who is the ideator of the CNT coin and of the CNT Network?

The dev should post transparency if they want to gain followers, the premine is to huge but they make sure that it is within Yobit's guidelines, judging from the look of it,they want to get in on YOBIT,because Yobit is not allowing a newbie announcement to submit a coin to their trading platform.

That's exactly what they want to do.

They aren't really interested in the crypto, but more on a MLM / Ponzi scheme in the style of Onecoin / Coinspace.

You can see  their marketing plan dating from dec 1st (In italian)  here: https://web.archive.org/web/20170210172534/http://www.microfranchising.biz/centuriontrial.pdf

They were planning to sell 60 "Primus Centurion" packages at 5.000 euros each, and then 300 "Master Centurion" at 1.500 Euros each. (as of december 20th, they were claiming of having sold already 40 packages at 5.000 euros each)

As you can guess, they are MUCH more interested in this than in an altcoin....

The Altcoin is ONLY important for them if it goes on some exchange, so that they can say "We are not like Onecoin! We are on the exchanges!"

To this extent, they have set up their own exchange ( bit.excambiorex.com ) using the services of cryptonex.net ( the "white label exchange"  and the "add an altcoin" service)

Then, they would work to get on some other exchange (like Yobit) and so to get listed on coinmarketcap.com

That would be the “Holy Grail” for a crypto Ponzi (no other previous crypto Ponzi like Onecoin, Coinspace, Swisscoin etc. ever did that).

Do you remember Onecoin and its screenschots of coinmarketcap.com, photoshopped to list Onecoin? Centurion wants to make a similar, but far more sofisticated operation!

Hi everyone,

Here's a small update about the charity we will start with a portion of the premine, as well as other things we will do with the help of the premine funds. Hopefully this will put many of your concerns to rest.

Centurion4Children

Centurion4Children is donating 5 million Centurion coins to well-established charity organizations. It is also raising funds within the community and through the website. The foundation is already represented in India, as well as Africa and Europe with official charity partnerships being revealed in March, 2017. Centurion4Children’ is currently raising funds for following causes:

• Support a Child and its Entire Family
• Sponsor a Boy
• Safe Water for Children in Development Countries
• Sustainable Schools

Promotion/Early Adopter Rewards

To cover promotion costs and to kick-start the donations distributed by Centurion4Children, the coin has reserved 50 Million of its tokens.

As stated before, 5 million of those coins will be allocated to Centurion4Children.

20 million will be allocated over the course of 5 years to fund promotional efforts aimed at raising awareness about Centurion. The cryptocurrency platform will soon embark on a marketing campaign in association with Cryptonetwork ltd, a Dubai-based entity which has a network of people spread across India, Germany, Italy, Spain and several other countries. They will be involved in various promotional activities, including the sale of products and services for which they will receive rewards in Centurion and Bitcoin.

The remaining 25 million Centurion coins (50% of the total premine) will be given back to the community in the form of rewards to early adopters, investors, related projects and talented individuals in the community working to improve Centurion.

We hope this answers your questions.

We hope this answers your questions.

Well, you haven't answered MY questions, have you?

There is AT LEAST a question  that will definitely be interesting for all the community:

Quote
1) How is the CNT cryptocurrency connected to the cnt.network site, owned by the Dubai Company, Cryptonetwork Ltd?

That will help everyone better understand the nature of the CNT centurion project: real cryptocurrency or Ponzi scam?
