User name: furrnature

Profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=815241

What happened: user posted an auction for a "unique payment gateway", touting it as his own with a sale price of $3000, however the screenshot he showed is of a $20 codecanyon script called "paypro".

Evidence: Auction thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1784450.0

Paypro script:  https://codecanyon.net/item/paypro-your-own-digital-download-payment-gateway/11905994

User provided picture of gateway: http://imgur.com/a/E6yX6

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Here is his response:

Oh dang. I'm so sorry I feel like an idiot now. I didn't know that this was being sold for 20$, I bought this from another guy on this forum named e.exchangers for 1 BTC  and realized I didn't have the time to support and advertise the site so I decided to sell it. I'll close the thread now, I'm really sorry.

Right...

I asked Rmcdermott927 what a signed message is twice and received no reply which was why it took me so long to provide proof for this.

He told me to:

Please let me know if I need anything else. Also please let me know if what signed message was correct, I exported the private key from my wallet (jaxx) and imported into blockchain.info where I then clicked sign message.

What does this even mean?   You are neglecting where you said that you would show skype logs where this transaction supposedly took place.   And I ignored you twice because I assumed that you had access to google just as much as I do.   If you can't be bothered to google "what is a bitcoin signed message", I cant be bothered to show you.

All this proves is that you sent 1 bitcoin.

There is no user called e.exchangers

Can you post an image of the PM between your account and his?

I never actually contacted him on here. I contacted him on another forum in which he gave me his skype. Through his skype I verified that

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=151365

was actually his account by asking him to log in and he did.

Ok.  I'm satisfied enough where I can admit I was wrong in this situation.  I will remove my feedback.  Feel free to contact Vod and Lauda to see if this evidence is satisfactory to them.

This took a while to get through.

Considering that you are satisfied with the 'resolution', and that 'adequate' proof was provided, I have removed my rating.
