ZigGap currently owes me 3.015201 BTC, and I would rather not have the risk of this debt.

In the interest of full disclosure, here's everything I know:
  • I don't think ZigGap hasn't been paying dividends
  • The last ZigGap loan payment was late, before he came on and paid it (and then disappeared again, for 12 days and counting)
  • The ZigGap owner, aethero, hasn't been very stable (he would often go on rants saying how I'm pretending to be my age and that people are terrorizing him; see copumpkin's rating on OTC)
  • ZigGap has been down for over a week, and is therefore not making profits.  Aethero quit his day job to start ZigGap, so I don't know how he's going to pay back the loan without the site making profits
  • The price of BTC has went up exponentially since he took out the loan

Bidding will start at 2.1 BTC, and you can buy the debt now for 2.6 BTC at https://btcjam.com/notes.

Once the debt is sold, I will either:
  • Forward all payments to a Bitcoin address that you provide
  • Ask BTCJam to send the loan to your account, if possible

You should start at 0.01 BTC
For a 3 BTC debt?  I'd rather just hold onto it.

Then it is not risky enough.
Just hold it.

I wouldn't pay 0.01 for it.  I've been following the Ziggap situation for about three weeks now and the lack of info relayed to shareholders total silence is pretty indicative.  No explanation of the dividend structure, no financial statements, and no website.  It would seem to the casual observer that Ziggap is no longer a business.

Aethero, if you're reading this, you've gotta realize that you need to communicate with your shareholders.  Like at least on a weekly basis.  If you don't, I'm sorry but its really starting to look like you ran a scam, man...and the longer you stay silent, the harder its going to be to refinance those loans...

I don't personally think he ran a scam from the start, but I think the fact that the BTC price rose a LOT really makes paying back the loan impossible for him Sad

To stay with the theme: Aethero, if you're reading this, you've gotta realize that you can't disappear like this.  People have invested THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars in ZigGap.  And, also, from what I've remember, the contracts with Bitcoiners aren't the only things you need to worry about when you disappear.  When I stopped working for you, you were in the process of negotiating with payment processors.  I guarantee you that those people wrote something in their contracts that you can't just disappear for 2 weeks.

Ziggap is dead even if they do make it back online.  Loan is in default.  Sucks, but its really doubtful that anyone is going to want to buy that debt.
