It's better to play Texas Holdem Poker rather than those live poker games, I find it hard to beat because their staff is cheating with players. They are using some kind of flipping strategy with their cards. Sports bet is another game that we can play for beating the house because the results are hard to manipulate unless that sports book is connected to the game management of that particular sport.

no you can't beat the house edge AFAIK, if you win you are only lucky, with the math you will know why, example in 2x multipliers, if you play 1000 bets you are expected to win only 495 and you will lose 505, that alone will give you negative profit.

No, regardless of the odds you will choose, the house edge will always stays the same. You can choose the lower higher edge but that would only give you are lower payout, that's how it works and if we will fool ourselves that we have a good chance doing it, then we will surely lose more than we expected to lose.
