That's almost certainly a ruse to get you to trust them. That really sucks man, sorry about your lost bitcoins. Next time use an escrow!!

She's from the Philippines but I don't know if the account or real just used to scam people,better move this in the scam accusations,I think you just register here just to post it here,anyway if your friend used paypal you can file a dispute but if her account is unverified you might not get it at all.

The facebook profile looks neither fake nor original. So I guess, you had given benefit of doubt to her. Also seeing a lady in need, you tried to help her and got scammed. That's a normal tool all scammers use generally, a lady's profile with some good photos in it.

However, $50 is not a very big amount and I am sure you will be able to make it up soon. But don't trust anyone in online world. That's a valuable lesson I had learnt in my long online career. I hope you have learnt that now. Good luck!
