The last problem between the two countries is going to be the warning for the missle testing that the Iranians did, the testing is only just dumb and I feel the Iranians are really just doing it to see how the new administration (Trump administration) is going to deal with problems like this. They've get their result which is them being put "on notice" from Flynn and Trump.

But lets just say war ever broke out between the two, USA would without a doubt pummel all of Iran without problem within a week or two. The two nations can't even compare when it comes to military tech and strength.

It would probably be a bloody and horrible war, only to end in a stalemate. The Iranian people are very dedicated and they have alliances with both china and Russia. If the US went to war with Iran it would be only the beginning of a much larger war.

The war will not happen. But just in case it will happen then both of the parties will suffer tremendous lost both in human resource but also in financial resources. After the war both parties will become weak due to casualties and expenses in the war thus the observing countries will also enter the picture and will wage war against them. In the end both USA and Iran will be defeated by the third party country and will dominate their government.

I think its completely unnecessary and it would be very destructive not just to these teo countries but to the entire world if incase war breaks out between these two. I do not know whether this war will be started but indeed between the USA and Iran is heating up. USA also had plans to enter the IRGC to a terrorist organization. If it becomes reality, Iran will take a firm stand. In addition, yesterday hundreds of thousands Iran people marched and burned the flag of the USA and Israel. If indeed both of them wars I still doubt who will win, maybe USA will win this war seeing the country is a superpower.

The collapse of the nuclear deal between the 2 side will most like not result in a war.
However, I believe that their are other issues between Washington and Tehran that
will more likely result in war. Israel for one. We all know that Iran is opposed towards
Israel. And US backs Israel. But if ever the war broke, US/Israel will win against
Iran even without the backing of NATO.

There will be a lot of big words, but it is neither in America or Irans interest to go to war. Iran is relatively stable considering a lot of the countries in that region and could do more damage than Iraq or Afghanistan. Donald is a bit crazy though, so I wouldn't put anything past him. Saudi Arabia doesn't like Iran, but it knows it is better to tolerate them than headbutt them.

For those who think it will be bad for the US then I think you need to go check out their military capabilities for overseas. It doesn't take much thought to figure out that Iran has no chance of even striking the US mainland militarily whereas the US has the capability to attack any part of their country without even being in it.

I already said it. If they don't face the danger as a group in the right time just when Iran is being attacked by the USA, they will lose 1 ally for free.

Assuming everyone on the destroyer would be asleep and not doing their job sure, 100 speedboats with bombs on them might work. Then again, these ships have high tech radar and weapons systems that could rip them to shreds using only their cannons and machine guns. This is just from one ship, US Navy ships travel in battle groups which often include aircraft carriers.

It would be a pipe dream for anyone to blow up a US Destroyer using speedboats.

Humans have one trait that has allowed us to survive for this long, self preservation. Countries are much more willing to sit back and let others get destroyed if they can get by unharmed regardless of the consequences. This is why Russia, China, and Iran have sat back and done nothing while we, the US, have invaded country after country after country for decades.
