I think you're just mixing fantasy with smaller situations.
Take italy. Not just the Balkan Muslims, but those in the Middle East also supported Hitler. Actually it was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (Haj Amin al-Husseini) who gave Hitler the idea of exterminating the Jews. And regarding Slavs, Hitler made exceptions to some of the groups.
