Hi,

What is the correct power management setting for the HDD and other components?  Do I need to change the setting to never shutdown the HDD or monitors and such?

I noticed that it took forever to update the blockchain when I started the bitcoin client and left the room, and noticed that when the monitor waked up, the blockchain download appeared to have stopped and restarted after a 10-20 seconds.

Thanks

For me, I set my LS-PM to none and of course no sleep or hibernation mode.  I DO have the screen going off with no issues, but don't know if that is the normal here.  As for HDD, I've got mine set to 20 min I think, as there will be some activity in that time preventing sleep if mining.
