Can I clean out the "Show new replies to your posts." section?

Some of my posts in some threads are no of interest to me anymore and I can't find a way to deactivate them from coming up in the "Show new replies to your posts." section.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

That adds threads I have posted in to the watchlist, I guess I could use the watchlist instead of "Show new replies to your posts." if there is not any way to prune old threads I never want to see again

I looked for the same thing previously, you can't do it.  Your best bet is to start using the watchlist and click the link to add all threads you've posted in to it.  All you need to do after that is start unwatching posts as necessary.
