Nah, burstcoin's logo is a way different.

OSMIUMCOIN has nice wallets too and all different... go to his profile and take a look.

No it is not this is a huge rip off change the logo..
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Anyone have any luck setting up a pool?

You must use old MPOS and Python Stratum, as this Coin is a Peercoin clone.
RPC Call is different then in Bitcoin, not compatible with UNOMP or CKPOOL.

Seriously, fuck this coin.  I wasn't one of the lucky few who got to instamine a fuckton.  By the time I finally had the time to sit down and figure out how to compile a Linux wallet, solomining without an ASIC on hand wasn't getting me anywhere.  So I spent hours struggling through setting up my own UNOMP pool on a Digital Ocean droplet.  Fought with it for hours only to come here and and find out I was wasting my time.

32,000+ blocks and 485,000+ coins now in the hands a handful of coin hoarders already, and I see no signs of a pool anytime soon.

- No Premine
- No ICO

No premine or ICO, but instamine?  Oh yes, there is an instamine.

I can easily compile the windows wallet, that is extremely trivial but defeats the purpose of building a community based project and puts all the burden on 1 person and this is just short-term issue as I will be deploying a Jenkins solution to auto-compile the wallets.

This is fucking retarded.  You aren't going to build anything "community based" because you and 2 other guys have ALL the coins!

Scam coin dev snuck in and added more to his ANN.

- PoS adjusted for RapidStake
- POS stake time: 4hours

Oh, so the instaminers didn't have to compete with PoS but everyone else will.

- POW Algo adjust rewards based on difficulty
- Dyanmic POW Reward - Difficulty based

I bet the reward is like 2 coins by the time a pool gets up.

EDIT : Scratch that, the reward will be fractions of a coin by the time a pool is up.  Mining is essentially already over.

- Max Coins - estimated around 40Million

There will never be 40 million of these coins and you know it.  Pathetic attempt at obfuscating the fact that you and a couple other guys instamined virtually all the coins in existence and the PoW reward is rapidly trending towards zero.

Glad you pointed out the POW reward issue as I think it needs an adjustment.  The original intent was to prevent a flood of coins from a multi-TH asic miner and mass-dumping of coins.

You need to do the the match and calculate the rewards based on a 2minute block.  That's 30blocks an hour vs 6blocks for BTC...

So setting a minimum value for the POW reward at 10 or 5, and then half that over time should solve that problem.
