I like your example of Wal Mart. A lot of small and medium scale shops closed down, after Wal Mart stole their customers. But in the end, who gained out of it? Products which were available for $10 apiece were available for half of that much in Wal Mart. The customer also profited out of this monopoly. Also, Wal Mart created more jobs than it took away.
